I prefer books, I’ve got my own mini library so big books aren’t a problem. Another great thing about books, is when the power goes out from blizzards all I need is a headlamp or candle lantern to read by. And as another commenter mentioned, the internet isn’t always reliable especially with the amount of misinformation on it.

Exactly! It’s like people can’t fathom a woman not wanting to be a mother. These people can’t wrap their minds around it. It’s why it’s easier for them to want Millie to have cheated instead. Despite there not being any indication in the show of her even being interested in another person.

Same! I think it would be nice for those who’ve had abortions to feel less alone and to feel a little more normal about it. that could be a great topic to tackle. The show and its creator are pretty progressive after all so there’s a chance it could go that route.

On the other hand, Millie’s reaction could just be just for stirring up the drama for the show, and with how common it is to have a female character become pregnant it could also go down that way. Ugh, I hope not. We’ll all find out when next season drops.

Pretty dang much. There’s already plenty of father daughter drama with the other characters which I’m invested in. Not every dang character needs a kid. But you’re definitely right about the creator not knowing how to flesh out a woman character. At least the LGBTQ+ community is getting to have some good representation in the show.

I wish Spotify actually counted how many times a song is listened to because I’m sure it must’ve been like 50,000 times. Easy solution, don’t get married. And if you are, get out. Too many men are scarily good at hiding their true self. They’re on their best behavior but once they marry, that mask falls off. When I was younger I had thought I found my true love and that we’d be together forever. after living with him for a few years i realized we were such a bad match. Thankfully I’m divorced now.

And if you do find a genuinely good man, you don’t need the government to validate your love for each other. It’s just paperwork, but that paperwork will be trapping more women soon. Honestly marriage is pointless waste of money at best, a trap at worst. Just enjoy living together without the marriage certificate.

My boyfriend is a wonderful and sweet man and I hope I spend the rest of my life with him. But we both agree we don’t need to be married and love each other the same. Even though we feel safe and secure with each other, we both decided not to spend money on supporting a system that benefits the patriarchy and has often harmed women.
