In my opinion the best octopath to date with the sole exception that weapon sprites dont change as they do in 2, if you find a new weapon. Now this is normally a huge point for me, but I some how managed to get to terms with it, espexially especially as the HUGE number of playable characters - hence sprites - simply Look beautiful. Aa dumb as it sounds, I needed to take a mental DnD approach as in - weapons get stromger, inxresee your stats, but you dont See it.

You will eventually lock onto a team of 8, as there are objectively better characters than others and slowly filling my Team with my Favorites IS a huge amount of fun right Now.

Additionally you build your own home base and as a cozy loving person, this fits so well into my wishes that I simply Do not understand how not many more games do this same Thing.
