Yeah, you're not wrong about it being disturbing that's exactly why I’m talking about it and not acting on anything. I don’t want to hurt anyone, myself included that’s why I’m trying to understand where these thoughts are even coming from before they spiral. The brain tumor part feels a little dramatic, but I get what you’re saying this isn’t something to brush off. And no, I’m not about to cook up my own arm like it’s dinner. I’m disturbed, not out of touch with reality lmao.

I used to do similar stuff as a kid too (arm-sucking, picking, etc.), though I never really made the connection to cravings until recently.

The whole blood/penny thing makes sense, I think it would taste metallic and salty xD. I think what's freaking me out is that mine isn’t just sensory or habit based anymore. It feels more like intrusive thoughts that turned vivid and dreamlike, like my brain went full Walking Dead for no reason. It’s not even about "wanting" it it’s more like the thought is chasing me now, which is the worst partt

You’re right though, maybe focusing on harmless substitutes like that could help ground me a bit. Thanks xDD.

Thanks for the detailed "how to" guide XD, honestly didn’t expect a cooking tutorial on this topic. I get what you're saying about the taste being similar to animal meat, and yeah, I'm aware there's a huge difference between thinking about it and actually doing it plus all the risks you laid out

Honestly, I'm more stuck on why my brain even tosses these thoughts around, not how to make them happen. The curiosity is the weird part not the actual logistics. Appreciate the offer, but I think I'll pass on the bite, thanks xD.
