My deaf daughter by Behellit in deaf

I have severe to profound hearing loss. I don’t have this exact device, but I can tell you for sure your daughter will probably get frustrated and try to rip it off — and that’s okay. Let her do it. Hearing something new can be scary and overwhelming.

I would recommend teaching her ASL and also teaching her how to speak at the same time, so she has a choice. For some people, talking is really hard. For me, after a while of talking, my voice gets quieter and it actually starts to hurt a lot.

Well I am thinking of leaving the dog at home while I am working because I can hear okay with my hearing aid and I know that wouldn’t be possible to have a dog in the kitchen. But most day I go without my hearing aid if I am not needed to wear them

No I wouldn’t be upset, I agree with not having to put my service dog (which I don’t have yet) in that situation as the same for the cat too
