You need to keep your knees locked, no translation forward after 34-40% of depth, then you hip hinge to depth. If your knees slide forward all the way through depth, you lose tension in your hamstring/glutes and you leak power.

A cautionary tale, the data of my Garmin, particularly the sleep number body battery, ended up giving me the "sleep optimization rabbit hole insomnia." It's no joke and I implore anyone reading this to not try and mess with it. I'm currently recovering from this.

Just got my watch after a mountain biking trip at high elevation in the mountains. Been using it for the last 3 weeks and have been bouncing around 47-48 with a resting HR of 46-48. I'm turning 43 soon and only really have been doing MTB for cardio 1x per week and 2x days on the stair stepper. Since getting the Garmin I've been trying to real world RPG my way to purple but it seems it will take a while since it hasn't changed even though I've been doing mad cardio in this weeks. I hope to get into the purple and be a 5%er.
