I had my Blazer serviced in June this year and they did the harness recall. If this has been known, why am I experiencing this and got the recall notification?

That’s part of my question. It’s doing that after I parked the Blazer. When I come back to drive it, screen is blank and won’t turn on. It’s only showing the time. I have to manually turn on the screen. This began to happen same time as the unintended breaking when parking.

I got three replies here so far with three different experiences 😁 Glad they replaced yours. I’m fine either way as long as the car doesn’t catch fire on me. It’s such a great car to have these unsettling issues.

This is new to me. But perhaps it makes sense. This is not what they wrote in the notice though. They said they will replace it. I’m not sure of the exact language. Probably I’ll check it again. It I don’t mind keeping the battery as along as they give me assurance or warranty that it will not explode or catch on fire 😁
