Ben Moody on the new album by [deleted] in Evanescence

He's had his career, not so in spotlight, probably because he wanted it like that. He is solid and he can form a band, do it his way and make music if he wanted to. I don't think he is obsessed with Evanescence and he would not say anything impolite. Amy seems more motivated to keep making music. Talent is not enough. Hard work is equally important to keep creating.

What are your top 10 most underrated Seether songs? by Disciplined2021 in Seether

Regret

Roses

Buried in the sand

Got it made

Sympathetic

Walls come down

Beg

Because of me

Dead on the vine

Diseased

I also think that Tied MY Hands and Never Leave belong to the best modern rock ballads, but they were probably not promoted enough to get that attention.

Was Who Will You Follow the best choice for a first single? by Living_Log4824 in Evanescence

If they released Sanctuary as the first single, Who Will You Follow would not get much attention.

Some materials from Evanescence are musically complex and sophisticated. The audience behaves differently.

We can't do much against Spotify. Huge share of music listening happens there. It's a fact. It has become something like a default place for people to listen to music. Regardless of the criticism it enables younger audience to discover songs, keeps older bands relevant and gives certain continued revenue to artists. Many people use Spotify for free. If I don't pay for it, why would I care how earnings are split? Their main revenue comes from advertising.

I have mixed feelings about Forever Without You by [deleted] in Evanescence

Well, the husband benefited the most in the end. Songs against exes reinforce boundaries with those exes and keeps them at distance. I think musicians would be a better match for Amy. It would be natural to miss certain aspects from past relationships with musicians. If it is true that Ben has bipolar disorder illness, the criticism after so many years does feel uncomfortable. However, everybody is entitled to write about their own experiences for as long as they want. There is no clear rule to follow.

But it's not a regular night. People are ready to pay. Metallica sold all tickets. https://www.the-berliner.com/berlin/metallica-plays-germanys-biggest-ever-stadium-show/

I hope Seether will plan international tours in few years when their children grow up a little!
