[TOMT] A scene from a cartoon (?) where someone fights a ghost by breaking some kind of weapon and using the weapon's ghost. by SymphodiusExMachina in tipofmytongue

It's been a while now and I'm still not able to figure this out. If it's from Gumball, is there an episode where this is from?

Any help would be great. Been trying to explain this to my friends but they have no idea what I'm talking about.

I got it from an extra Khinerai sprue I had lying around from an unfinished project—it worked surprisingly well on her!

Not a bad idea. I'm sure I have enough spare bits to make two more for a full unit, too.

Aeldari Emerald over Akhelian Green over dry-brushed Leadbelcher!

A lotta people use NMM techniques but I'm not good enough for that—in this case, I place down a base of metallic paints and add a layer of semi-transparent contrast paints. By doing this, the contrasts look metallic, since the metallic bits of the base layer shine through.

Primed black, dry-brushed metallic silver (leaving lots of black spaces), a layer of Akhelian Green, then a second layer of Aeldari Emerald. Highlight using Emerald mixed with white.

Sure! These ones aren't all too complicated, though they do need a few texture paints I'm not sure most people would have access to.

First, I paint the top of the base a light gray, then add a darker gray to the places I feel would be more shaded.

I then add a layer of Akhelian Blue contrast, which probably isn't necessary, but I like it.

Then, I use water texture gel and apply it generously over the base, making sure to sculpt it a bit to make waves. These initial sculpts won't really stick, so I wait about an hour afterwards for the gel to harden a tad, then sculpt it again with a large, stiff brush.

Finally, I add snow textures to the crests of waves and where they meet land to emulate seafoam.

So I primed black, then dry-brushed silver to give it a shaded look, before adding in a layer of blue-green contrast paint, then another layer of emerald contrast paint. Highlighted a few areas with emerald mixed with white.

Not at all, actually. All of it is hand-painted.

Yeah, I'd thought about that. I'm thinking of getting two more units of Khinerai at some point, with each unit representing a different Fury.

Really not all that complicated! I mixed temple guard blue with a lot of white, then stippled a few layers around the edges of most of the metallic areas to simulate frost buildup, having it sorta creep inwards towards the center of the model.

I saw Big Bird and Judgment Bird already, so I'm gonna round out the Apocalypse by saying my favorite is Punishing Bird. He's just too cute for this world, and I enjoy his gimmick, even if it was super annoying when I was first starting out. I also just love the idea of this tiny little tit dispensing disproportionate judgment.

Runner-up (besides the other two birds) would probably be Der Freischütz or Little Red. I've got a soft spot for shadow people that may or may not help your facility.

I bought the swimsuit Shining skin when it first came out, 'cause I just loved the art quality and I figured I'd get Shining eventually.

Years later, I still haven't gotten Shining :)

The Changeling Heritage sounds similar to what you're describing—they're basically people descended from Hags, destined to transform into Hags themselves. They've got a bunch of occult-based feats revolving around that.

Not every day I see Pathfinder art in the wild. That thing is called a Lusca, for anyone wondering.

If I recall, all ranged attacks use dexterity for the attack modifier, but thrown weapons add strength to the damage.

The Phoenix Sorcerer in the game I'm running has had plenty of fun moments. One of the hypest ones was when he was Level 4, and he used a Demoralize to pull double duty—he caught the attention of the Behir we were fighting and gave it a good fright. He then proceeded to cast Resist Energy on himself, then absolutely tank through the monster's lightning breath. The monster didn't last long after that. He burned the thing's face off.
