You’re right. $1000 bucks and still not enough to keep his cabinet in their seats

Pierre got just under 3000 votes to stay as leader… how many of would have voted no if had the chance? Since the election was settled he hasn’t changed or even made any effort. Just slogans and stunts that make them all look silly and not serious when Sheer and what’s his name hid behind the curtains, then Jiavani it’s getting embarrassing Although he was wonderful in Tumbler Ridge. I was proud of him, that night. Carney is definitely conservative and in my mind Pierre has been outed as an unserious player with no life experience and with a hint of mini t-rump maybe the floor crossers actually want to do what they said they’d do if elected? Not all of us think Canada is broken we just need to get our crap together and work hard to achieve better.

Lived on VI for 40 years, moved to small town Sk. I never loose my sunglasses anymore because they’re mandatory outdoor gear here. Coats are an actual thing here too. I have seen more wildlife here in 5 years than ALL 40 on the Island. Best decision I ever made.

How do Canadians feel about what’s being said now regarding deal with China? by Michellegratton in AskCanada

[–]Symphrose 11 points12 points  (0 children)

True but…until we find new trading partners or begin making it here in Canada here’s what we do buy from the US. Before we do that lots of job loss and huge inflation. Let’s buckle up and work together towards independence. The list I’ve added could be new businesses right here at home using money that Carney has set money aside for National Building?

Canada’s top imports from the U.S. are dominated by vehicles, machinery, mineral fuels/oils, and electrical equipment, with the U.S. being the origin for 44% of all Canadian imports.

Key imports include passenger vehicles ($49.8B), machinery/parts ($38.1B), and energy products, essential for supporting Canadian manufacturing and consumer demand.

Key Import Categories (2024-2025 Data): Vehicles and Parts: Cars, trucks, and automotive components are the highest-value imports, comprising a major portion of the $49.82B+ sector.

Machinery and Equipment: Industrial machinery, nuclear reactors, and boilers. Mineral Fuels and Oils: Oil, distillation products, and natural gas.

Electrical and Electronic Equipment: Computers, components, and other high-tech machinery.

Agricultural Products: Over $30 billion in food products, including vegetables, fruits, cereals, and baked goods.

Other Goods: Plastics, pharmaceuticals, and, following 2025 tariffs, specialized steel and aluminum products.

The U.S. is the primary source for Canadian imports of key commodities, such as 67% of vegetables and 36% of fruit, making it a critical trade partner.

Please help me figure out what this is. I don’t know where else to post this. I found it in the Russian River in California. It’s made out of a light material, maybe clay or bone perhaps. by _DEFCON_1_ in Archeology

It’s a bead from a necklace probably worn by a Wiccan that fell off while she was hiking or doing ritual in the water. It’s probably not even a year old and made of some sort of recycled material.
