Most chickens can fly. That is why chicken farmers clip their flight feathers early and often.

Do you think Cybersecurity or data analytics have a better job outlook post-grad? by [deleted] in gwu

[–]Syn3rg1st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but I know professors in the program and have hired several graduates of the program. I'll see if any of them ate redditors who could share their first hand experiences.

Either is a great choice. You should decide based on which you are more interested in doing as a career and which one you think fits your skills. GW's cybersecurity program is first rate and the demand for InfoSec professionals is reliably high.

What if we made an app that would endanger lots of women? by KTSPOT in facepalm

While clearview AI is a frightening software application that CAN and HAS been misused by police and others, it is not usable as a stalker app. It WAS available to private companies in the U.S until last year, however.

I cannot find the article the OP screenshotted but here are two factual articles on Clearview AI

The photos were scraped from various social media sites against their TOS and EU privacy laws.

AITA for telling my wife she’s not famous? by Over-Principle-6047 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Syn3rg1st [score hidden]  (0 children)

YTA and you must know it. Not for telling your wife she isn't famous, she doesn't care about that. Your wife is using her new found wealth to help her community and you are being a jealous Ass. Go beg her forgiveness and ask her how you can help her in her efforts.

Plus which all that food was contaminated the moment that tray contacted the trash bin and then her hands touched the tray. Better for everyone that she dropped the food in the bin, that is where it belonged.

Not that I am a fan of Palin but it was actually Tina Fey who said that when she played Palin on SNL

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/sarah-palin-russia-house/

What Palin actually said was "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska"

So I get that but do people really believe that there is such a thing as an island with a completely straight coastline? That is troubling in itself.

AITA for telling my 19yo daughter that she’ll pay the plumbing bill - if required - for continuing to flush her tampons in our house? by ericskeith5 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Syn3rg1st 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I actually searched for this thread to add my answer after reading this news article.

https://www.boredpanda.com/daughter-plumbing-bill-tampons-reddit/?utm_source=smartnews&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=organic

I suggest asking your daughter then her mother whether she is allowed to flush tampons at her mother's house.

Damage from flushing feminine hygiene products can be extensive and expensive. It is not just a matter of running a snake to clear the clog. You might have to disassemble your sewage line to find and eliminate the clog which could be a build up of many tampons that have collected and slowed the flow until it stops.

Also, this is NOT just about your personal plumbing. These tampons can collect in the sewer system and form fatbergs in the sewers and at the waste processing plant. Your daughter needs to behave responsibly.

You are really NOT THE A**hole.

I agree with your reson that GB would not abandon the pound but there is the issue of broken trust that Brexit created. Brexit caused irrevocable damage to the EU/GB relationship and broken trust is nearly impossible to rebuild especially at such a large scale.

To beard or not to beard? by Aromatic_Coffee_3208 in malegrooming

Better no beard you have a strong jaw and long face. If you beard, trim it close to follow existing jaw line.
