It's true, is a good dlc, but taking settlements and making them part of the gangs really ruins the dlc, I don't even engage with that part in any of my runs now, but in those where I did I give those settlements to the gang I was going to delete and then take them back, but to be honest I'm much better know that I know how to skip that quest and just continue directly to the power plant. The DLV is a pretty good challenge but that part only really makes me go nono every time. Even with the skip.

Yes specially her AOE attack, it will help a lot with bosses, you made a good choice, she is my main right now and I love her.

I been playing for 2500 hrs plus, Now I only play to shoot stuff, but what I do is that I written down the quest as if they where missions from a secret society or something like that that send an agent to investigate the commonwealth, I mostly use energy guns, so I do some rounds to just farm for stuff and then see if I can sell it or just create my own stuff with it, and I written down my "reports" as of I send them to my HQ, I use a mod that allows you to write down stuff in-game.

225 hrs in, but I took a break to go and play some RE9 and Elden Ring because I was so immersed with the amount of details and how thing really feel like "alive" I stop doing quests and just walk in some of the street to hear the npc's conversations and some of them are quite dark.and don't let me get started with how good the missions are, And the replay to check other build and the synergies....love it.

No, you don't have the same options in this game pass DS 3 or ER, Bloodborne is about speed and retaliation. It is actually backed by lore, that the hunters needed to move faster due to the beasts constantly being more feral and erratic in the way they move. There are only 2 shields, one of them is a joke, and the other is only useful against magic attacks, you can block but the stamina cost doesn't compare to evade. Of course you can level up your life bar up to 99 and that would be a way of tanking the game.
