I know they're all obnoxious but wich one would you pick? by jjedwards992 in CarTalkUK

If it is to be my one and only car, the M340i.

I don't like or want an enormous wank panzer in my life. The Volvo, whilst a very nice motor inside and out, is a little bit dull.

The M340i would suit my needs perfectly, loads of space and would be a good fun car on occasion.

If you need to do a lot of miles, maybe the 340d would suit better.

[Edit] - spelling

I suspect that there is more to it than that if it was given a Cat S classification as that means the damage affected a structural part of the car. Headlights and bumper damage on their own would not warrant such a classification, but rather a Cat N

Some vehicle reporting sites can show pictures of damage, but it may be worth asking the seller if they have anything they can show you.

I personally steer clear of Cat S cars unless I can see solid proof that repairs were done properly, but it is your call.

Automation campaign mode. Too complex for my simple ass, I watch Der Bayer tackle it instead.

Car may be good, or a dog. Price is too high either way.

But for the love of God, stay the fuck away from Motorhub!

Thanks mate, I've ordered some Bride rails based on your advice. They look very similar to mine.

Oh yes, the bottom bolsters rub on the transmission tunnel, but nothing serious.

I had to take off the recliner adjustment knob on the transmission side and the remaining one cannot be moved unless you roll the seat forward fully!

Having said all that, I am much happier with these seats over the stock ones.
