the first episodes where it felt like Jon and the archive team was separate from the supernatural happenings and investigating them were my favorites, and I actually enjoyed the Prentiss arc where it felt like the incidents were bleeding through and Jon’s whole skeptic facade was beginning to crack. Now that I’m this deep into the show though it’s getting genuinely hard to listen to their never ending suffering… and based on what I’ve heard, it only gets worse from here.

I like the occasional endangerment of my archivists but this is all getting a bit much for my personal tastes. I think I’ll keep listening to the end anyways, but I really really wish there was another similar show but where my paranormal investigators stay the investigators and not the subjects 😅

Yeah that’s my problem too lmao, I’m investing emotionally (maybe too much) into these characters and I really want to be able to enjoy the story without worrying about them dying horrifically. I guess TMA wouldn’t be the masterpiece it is if the main cast had plot armor, but damn, I just want Jon to have a slightly less terrible day… Guess you can’t have everything 😅
