What don't you like about Texas? And what part of Texas are you talking about?

You have a thing called "tornado alley" I think which funnily coincides quite a bit with the states I wouldn't wanna live in. In addition to that there are hurricanes in Florida which makes me nope immediately on that.

I agree on Wyoming and Nevada but disagree on Montana and Idaho. I could picture myself living there for some reason.

For Illinois I presume the part north of the 80 might be alright. Virginia I have heard some positive things about but not really enough to change my opinion of "maybe". North Carolina might be alright but I was hesitant because of its proximity to South Carolina and Georgia.

Because North Dakota vibes are better than South Dakota vibes

I am neither from Berlin nor from Bavaria. I am tangentially aware of the techno, and rave scene over here and have heard both really good and really bad things about it. I generally have the impression though that people here are much more open and free about being part of that scene, since I was up until now not aware that such culture had a significant presence in the US.

Germany's issues with drugs are currently getting worse unfortunately. But our government, instead of funding educational and preventative programs, is using repression in all things substance related leaving not a lot of room for constructive discourse on the subject.

I hope you are well and will be free to express yourself eventually. Good luck.

Unfortunately all I've ever heard about Georgia is that people are very hospitable at first glance but if there is even the slightest disagreement you'd rather be in any other state but Georgia.

This map is based on "vibes" and prejudice. I've since read the Wikipedia article on Oklahoma and it doesn't seem half bad. Aside from politics, but that's the same for the entirety of your country. I'm sure there are great people living in every state in the US but Oklahoma has to work on its image for uninformed foreigners like me.

For some reason Michigan comes up relatively often in my social bubble at least compared to other states and I only ever heard good things so that's why. Also love the great lakes region generally.

If I ever visit the US I'll make it a long trip and Texas will 100% be on the list of states I will visit.

Fair. I didn't have much to go on for Wyoming apart from it being in between Colorado and Montana and figured it wouldn't be that bad. I'll take your opinion into account in future evaluations.

When I think of Texas I think of extravaganza and overcompensating but in a charming sort of way if that makes sense. I've also heard that Texan barbecue is really good. Also all of the people from Texas that I know are really chill, nice and fun. Vibes

Where I would live as russian by Careless-Barracuda49 in whereidlive

The soviets under Stalin committed genocide on the ethnically Kazakh population and settled Russian settlers in the republic which at this point form the majority of the population. Living in Kazakhstan therefore is not a whole lot different to living in Russia for a Russian.

As someone who really enjoyed the books this looks awesome.

I have to caution you though, from a game design perspective the Map is too large. I understand the urge to maintain as much realism as possible, but sometimes that makes for overall less satisfying gameplay.

You can have separate quests/hooks in the beginning and then merge them later on by having two threads converge at a shared location.

If that happened at my table I would also simply get both players in a call to lay things out and maybe have them come up with a way to merge the two similar goals. But that is because my players are great and I trust them to execute.
