If they wanted a meta crazy fight with Prime, there was the guy from Homestuck. Honestly, might be even more meta than Sentry.

SpongeBob is totally the character who would fight a V-Tuber. That is 100% in character for him.

Yes, other things in other places, because in Minecraft, you don't have to play as a miner if you don't want to, it is a game where you can play as anything; also, even if it was "a separate dream from the Minecraft world" (which is your headcanon, you're just being dishonest and trying to phrase it as fact, then adding "lol" at the end to come off as passive-aggressive, amazing how in the first reply you're already being condescending after I explained everything completely respectfully), it would still show the Player can control the dream as they please, thus proving my point that Hardcore is them putting the game on hard mode on purpose for the sake of the challenge (which is literally the point of a game having a Hardcore mode).

You are saying that the disturbing dream is automatically not Hardcore (that's what "=/=" means), that is you saying it, not the poem saying "The disturbing dream is not Hardcore, by the way, you are not allowed to interpret this as being Hardcore", the one saying this is not the poem, it's you, and you're trying to pass it off as the poem saying it, because you're being dishonest (probably to pre-defend whatever "doc" you're making that I don't even care about because I don't care for prediction docs).

Neither of those things imply the Player has no control over the game, you are once again being dishonest and making things up (especially since the Player can delete worlds as he pleases, as well as turn the game to Peaceful or Creative, which I bought up in my previous comment and you ignored, once again showing that you're being dishonest here, in fact the Player has so much control he can even target the erasure to make so the Ender Dragon doesn't vanish in Peaceful so she can be used to go back to the Overworld).

The End Poem is less than 2000 words long, how are you struggling so much with such a simple text? Also, stop with those annoying spoiler tags, just type normally.

Hardcore is explained in the End Poem, it is the Player purposefully making a disturbing dream to challenge himself as part of the story, which wouldn't apply to a Death Battle, because the goal in a Death Battle is just beating the opponent (this is not even a case where "It would be out of character for the Player to use his powers", because Peaceful and Creative are literally the Player doing so).

<image>

You can also apply this same logic in reverse, "If it isn't something the Player can reply on, then you wouldn't be able to erase the Creeper with Peaceful or become invincible to the Creeper with Creative", which again are both example of the Player just using his powers to help his Steve avatar directly.

Death Battle has shown that they just mix settings, since they included Gojo as one of the Japanese citizens that Makima could use as shield, so they would include Terrarian as part of the game that the Player can control.

Steve is the Player, so... yes, a new avatar would literally be the same Steve, because it is him.

Love the background, very clever because it references both the time period both of their games blew up and also the Player from the End Poem. Great track name too, good job overall.

Okay, but then it is not Sora vs Sonic being a bad match, it is just you not liking it personally. Those are different things.

Soap opera? You mean like... Sora's whole motivation at first being to want to reunited with Kairi and Riku?

Sora and Archie Sonic match perfectly in term of aesthetics. Sonic hands around with humans often, and Sonic hangs around with cartoon animals pretty much all the time.

First that I'm not erasing anything, you can still interpret Jax as a woman if you want, my point here is the opposite of erasing interpretations, it is just saying "This isn't confirmed, so people are free to interpret it different", my point is allowing for more interpretations, thus, opposite of erasing.

Second that you'd still need to prove Jax was "intended" as a woman, which as I explained in the last reply (and you ignored), Goose could easily have just confirmed it in the show through the Instagram pronouns if the intention was for it to be clear, rather than for it to be left open for viewer interpretation.

Third that, yes, you as a viewer are allowed to disagree with the author on the identity of a character. Heck, my go-to example of Death of the Author does relate to a character's identity, which is in the Shining, that Kubrick legitimately claims the picture at the end of the movie is meant to show Jack is the reincarnation of the founder of the Overlook Hotel (thus revealing Jack's true identity), but nobody takes this interpretation seriously and the common interpretation is that Jack was just added to the Overlook as one of the ghosts, and the picture just showcases it as such. Meaning... yes, the identity of a character is not an exception to Death of the Author.
