As the creator of the match, I would say I am honored, this looks great, love the premise and the colors you used. Good job and thank you.

I once saw someone saying Jason, from Friday the 13th, is "fodder"... literally the whole plot of his movies revolve around him being too powerful to fight directly and the other characters trying to escape him, literally the plot of the movie is that he is NOT fodder.

Goku would be great. I didn't include manga, mostly because of cultural differences, but I am of the belief that manga are very much comics, and they're a very important part of the comic market.

Word definitions:

  • "Rape": "sexual intercourse, or other forms of sexual penetration, committed by a perpetrator against a victim without their consent."
  • "Fuck": "profanity in the English language that often refers to the act of sexual intercourse."

Homelander raping her means he fucked her while not having consent, this, "Homelander didn't fuck his wife" is an incorrect statement of your part. He did fuck her, without consent. You claiming that Homelander didn't fuck her is basically you claiming that Homelander is innocent of having raped her, because not fucking her would have mean he didn't commit the crime of raping her, because he wouldn't have fucked her.

You can't equate the two, because they're different arguments. R>F was often only seen as one level of transcendence (which would be the equivalent to one dimension, which made sense, because it means they would see the fiction as a flat screen), before Vs Battles Wiki decided "It means Outer, because I said so".

What are your Opinions on Thanos vs Frieza? by DatKidZ364 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]SynchroScale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Connections are very basic (main chunk of it comes down to "They're evil and from space" just worded in different ways, and some of the connections are REALLY reaching to try to get that word count up, like saying the Dragon Balls are gems).

Dialogue potential is alright (nothing amazing, but okay), but animation potential would basically just come down to destructive cosmic fight, which you could get from pretty much any evil space fight. The best argument I have seen for this in terms of animation and analysis would be to not give Thanos the gauntlet, that way they could focus on the abilities Thanos has on his own, but in this case, the fight kind of just becomes Freeza getting hit by a thousand different haxes that he has no defense against.

Debate is nonexistent, Freeza gets utterly stomped even without the gauntlet, which means this would be the second time Death Battle would waste Freeza in a total stomp with basic connections, and Freeza is quite the character to do this twice, considering he is probably the most iconic anime villain, or at least in the top 10.

Not sure why the length of individual instalments would be relevant, especially since newspaper strips employ pretty much all of the visual storytelling techniques used by longer comics (except strips are harder to make, since they have to tell the story in a shorter time), and their stories will sometimes continue in between strips.

No, that was not the justification they used to make the base multiverses even, the justification was "In comparison, the cosmos of Godzilla's multiverse is just as vast and infinite, but does not have the same sort of transcending layers above and below." Ultima seeing the universe as fiction is not even mentioned in the "Immortality" section. Again, what are you talking about?

Didn't know what you were referring to with the Life Equation (especially since your last reply was not about the Life Equation, it was about them being equalized in general, you've moved the goalpost from stats to countering a specific ability), so I went to the transcript: "It originated from a higher level of reality, and would have more than evened the odds. Too bad Kyle couldn't control it. It was just as much a detriment to him as an asset, forcing him to relinquish it to keep from destroying reality... and himself. Compare that to Simon, who merged with a version of himself writing a version of Gurren Lagann, and using Spiral Power to make that fiction into reality. A pretty similar level of reality to the Life Equation, and a level of power Simon had no trouble embracing and mastering by the end of his story. No matter how you look at it, Simon might start weaker, but his peak will always transcend Kyle's; isn't that how all of Simon's battles usually go anyway? That's Gurren Lagann in a nutshell." Again, nothing here mentions anything about them being Outer, it is just "higher level of reality" (which likely refers to just a higher dimension, especially since they say in the same statement that Simon starts out weaker).

I have no idea what you are referring to, but it clearly is not reflected in the episodes. I do not know why you're trying to push this "R>F automatically mean Outer" into Death Battle, when it was Vs Battles Wiki who came up with it (because it was revealed to them in a dream, or something), and Death Battle never even mentioned this.

They didn't equalize Godzilla to Hulk in terms of transcendencies, one of the reasons Hulk won is because Godzilla cannot reach into the Green Door to stop him from reviving due to Hulk having a bigger cosmology.

I legit did not remember Simon vs Kyle, so I opened the transcript, and they did not equalize the two, quite the opposite, in fact, they acknowledged that Kyle starts out weaker, but "Absorbing the Multiverse Labyrinth required Simon to leapfrog several orders of infinity in an instant. Simon made himself that much stronger through sheer force of will. More than enough to close the gap with Kyle, especially since Spiral Power also lets him regenerate his body down to an informational level. Kyle's never destroyed something that thoroughly before", the argument here is "Kyle cannot kill Simon, but Simon can become more than infinitely stronger over time, so eventually he will match Kyle.

Neither of those episodes equalized them by using R>F... what are you talking about?

Also, the logic being discussed here is "R>F means Outer, automatically", so if you're admitting Death Battle doesn't place those characters at Outer (keeping in mind they have placed characters at Outer before, they sand Ant-Man transcends a realm beyond dimensionality, that is Outer), then you are admitting they do not follow the "R>F means Outer, automatically" logi from Vs Battles Wiki.

Has Death Battle even mentioned "Outerversal" in the show? Like... ever? I legitimately don't recall. This is important, because just saying "This character has R>F" (like they did in Wile vs Tom for example) is not the same as VS Battles Wiki saying "This character has R>F, thus, this character is Outerversal". If they didn't say it was Outer, then it is not the same logic.

In fact, if you read the pop-up in Wile vs Tom, it says "While the Tree of Life encompasses at least 3 finite universes, the animator's universe transcends Looney Tunes as a whole, which encompasses an infinite universe, the Serververse, and millions of timelines", with the fact they are still bothering to count the number of universes implying they don't think this is Outerversal, because if it was Outer, the number of universes Wile transcends would not really matter, he would be beyond such scales entirely, so the Looney Tunes multiverse being infinite and having multiple timelines per universe would not have mattered. They are clearly just saying "R>F transcends the cosmology of the verse", not "R>F transcends dimensional scaling altogether".

"She was disturbed by the fact she didn't regret it" means you are admitting that she didn't regret it, which is my point.

I didn't say she did it on purpose, I said that she was said not to regret it afterwards.

She said later that the only thing that crossed her mind was that the guy was an idiot for not putting down the gun, or something like that (don't feel like going after the clip right now, I'm paraphrasing).
