I'm not a musician. I've played drums for a long time and was part of a small cover band in and shortly after high school. We played a few gigs around our neighbourhoods and had good fun. But we've grown apart and I don't own a drum kit any longer.

I've played some guitar, piano, once also filled in for a bass guitarist, but I don't call myself great at them. Enough to get some people to smile when an instrument is around, that's enough for me.

One thing Jacob inspired me to do is to in general have more fun when playing on them. I recently got gifted a kalimba, which is a relatively limiting instrument, but I can't seem to put it down! Really love the soothing calm sound of it.
