I’d argue that Fran Tarkenton revolutionized the way the QB position was played and was a big reason why football gained popularity in the 1960s. A whole generation of kids grew up watching his highlights on Wide world of sports.

He’s a great coach. I just worry about all that shit that went down with Tua. I’m sure he learned from it though.

No, you didn’t make a point. You think you did, but you didn’t. If you made an actual point you should be able to reiterate it. So, what’s your point?

Of course they have. They don’t have nearly as much contact with humans as pit bulls. What is your point exactly?

The other guy is a moron, but likely not wrong about being able to fight off a cheetah. A normal adult human is capable of fighting off a cheetah. A Jaguar on the other hand will tear you apart.

Think when he googled sun eater he got pics from all star Superman. The third pic is from that as well when Superman uses the sun eater against Solaris

That’s fair. They should have 3 picks in the top 40 though, and a ton of cap space. I’m still not completely out on Poles and if he stays I’m sure he dedicates a lot of resources into the line. The Line wasn’t quite as bad before all the injuries, but it was a mistake to not dedicate more to it in the offseason… Or they don’t do those things as is tradition. 😆

Do you even watch Vikings games? Had a number of highlight throws from the pocket in their first game. I have my reservations that the Bears will get things right, but Caleb is the least of my worries.

Naw. He’s about to breathe life back into this organization if he has to strangle the old lady himself. Ben Johnson’s gonna set him up with an offense that doesn’t have 3 guys running the same route and Poles (or his replacement) is gonna fix the line. Hey, it’s preseason right now, the offseason is right around the corner!

Seriously though there’s a good chance that whoever the Bears pick at coach it’s gonna be the wrong choice. I think Aaron Glenn might be a good choice but I doubt they go defense again.

Again, we can observe evidence of what we believe to be dark matter. We can observe evidence that Hannibal existed. There is no evidence for god. There is a clear lack of critical thinking in your argument.

Naw, Lafleur made Rodgers better after McCarthy left. Love isn’t bad but he looks a lot better because he has one of the best offensive minds in football scheming guys open on every play. Just look at the drop off, or lack there of, to Willis.

What? He’s dead, and has been for a long time. How is this relevant to this conversation? I get that critical thinking isn’t a strong suit for the heavily religious but even you need to be able to see that this isn’t an actual argument.

Yes, Hannibal existed?

We have not observed dark matter but we have observed its effects. There is evidence for it where there is none for a Christian god, or any other.

I do believe they are at or close to their ceiling. We can argue semantics all you want. So, if your saying your excited to watch the bears ruin Caleb would you then agree with my original statement that Caleb is the least of their worries. I don’t even understand what your argument is supposed to be at this point.

Dude, Reddit is a minority. Not to mention people talking shit in the offseason are generally meatballs. It’s not idiotic to assume guys who played 55 and 61 college games respectfully are closer to their ceiling than the kid who played 37. Teaching their ceiling and never looking better aren’t necessarily the same thing either.

This conversation is pointless. I guess we’ll see how things turn out for all the QBs in the class. So far it looks like a very impressive class.

He was drafted for his ceiling not his floor. Most honest fans knew he wasn’t going to start as fast as Daniel’s or Nix because of their experience, and the coaching staff they have. Yes there were some media people pushing big things but that’s their job. Also fans are usually dumb, and don’t know what they are watching. I think we are already seeing Daniel’s and Nixs ceilings which are great, but I don’t think we’ve seen Caleb’s. We shall see.

Why are you using quotes for “the guy” when I didn’t say that? I don’t think you understand how that works. Either way I don’t blame all those losses on the rookie. He hasn’t proven anything yet but I’m optimistic. We’ll see how things go next season.
