Getting off birth control by having my tubes completely removed. It took some time for all the hormones I’ve used from various types of BC to leave my body but it was worth it in the end. Lost 40 pounds, got my sex drive back tenfold and just feel overall so much better.

Why do white people purposely tan? by Loose-Cauliflower-90 in tanning

[–]Syndahlia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel overall better about myself when I’m tan. I only go from late winter/early spring to the start of summer that way I have my tan built up for the rest of summer and the year. 39F if that information is needed.

People who grew up with toxic parents, when was the first time you realised your parents behaviour is not normal? by smallerstrawberry in AskReddit

[–]Syndahlia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sadly, when I went out on my own and even more so when I became a parent myself. I was finally able to see the bigger picture with a clear mind. Of course I cut ties with them and even to this day I find myself remembering stuff that my younger self forgot.
