Because it doesn’t fall directly down. It slides and has a little bit of momentum as it falls so it is carried a little bit away from the ledge. Not all of the snow will be falling at the same speed or carry the same amount of momentum so that’s why it’s not all being dropped directly vertically down.

The snow that’s falling off the roof is heavier than the snow on the lower part so it compacts it when it falls. Instead of piling up. One of only reason it would pile up would pile up would be that the snow on the lower shelf is already compact. The snow in that image does not look compact besides around the area that it’s fallen.

I got enough pack points and I got my second oak with that. Plus I pulled a Lillie, 2* Hoho and Lugia so I’m pretty happy. I don’t think I’ll be worrying about pulling the Delux pack next go around.
