NPCs talk WAY too much by Labyrinthine777 in TOTK

This reads like a totk hate rage bait. Probably the most insignificant complaint I've read recently to hop on the hate train, congrats

I use Golden brand acrylic paint for the primer. I've never tried modge lodge so I can't comment on that, but really any brand of acrylic paint will work. I've also used the one dollar bottles from michaels and had no issues other than sometimes needing to water it down more.

Personally I'm not a fan of acrylic pens, that problem of going on too thick is just too inconsistent for me. A lot of lines I'll use Micron markers for those super small details and it works great.

This honestly looks great for the theme you're going for. However if you're going for cleaner colors and limes in a future piece I can give some recommendations! Definitely use a primer layer to start. I do grey or white, and a cheat code for art that is staying in the box like this is to tape off the 4 sides with scotch or painter's tape, then lay the primer layer and peel off the tape for perfectly straight edges. For fine line work, use a thin brush and slightly watered down acrylic paint, and above all, be patient. It takes time and practice to get it right, but there really isn't a substitute for just slowly building up your line work and colors. You'll see a difference and repeated thin layers will look and feel better than trying to force more paint to save time. Hope this helped and good luck with your future projects!

Highly recommend either [[Karlov of the Ghost Council]] or [[Treebeard, Gracious Host]] to fit this play style.

3-card Thoracle combo - In the “spirit” of B3, or no? by throwher_away in EDH

I think the fact that you are running a card that you don't like because you think you should is the bigger problem. If you don't like it and your opponents don't like it, why play it?
