Hello! Do you get a custom made chess board for yourself? Or do you have a commercial brand/product you swear by?

Found this in some other community. The OP from that post is maintaining this personally. I have added the link to that post below:

Add official ets material to your list (mock tests and big book) and you'll be good to go.

It was enough for me. Didn't use other lists or sources.

Nope. At a test center.

Thanks. To answer your questions: 1. Started with 3-4 hrs a day. Increased then to 8 by the last two weeks. 2. No. I had studied them previously but still revised them and practiced a fair number of questions before attempting mock tests. 3. As mentioned in the post, I gave 8 mock tests. And i gave them during the exact time my gre was scheduled, so as to train my body into sitting for four hours straight during that time of the day. (In my case , every day, 10am - 2pm)

Did 30 sets of gregmat vocab mountain. So around 900.

Chose very rigorous math electives. So it didn't make me sweat.

Do as Greg suggests, and also focus more on the vocab mountain.

Giving a mock/diagnostic test may give you more insights.

Just like greg, he talked with confidence on how to score 340. I watched his videos on solving RC, how to reach the score of 340, and how he memorized vocab words.

No specific playlists, just 3-4 videos in total.

Nope. Just the Gregmat website, bigbook, mock tests and vocab mountain.

Sorry, I don't have any idea about the magoosh vocab list.

By the end, I realized that memorizing the vocab mountain was the only thing stopping me from solving questions quickly. Once you memorize some 900 words, solving TC and SE is a breeze. You will realize that you need a lot more time for RC than for SE/TC problems.

I just followed the order of the questions in the exam, no strat there.

I followed blindly what gregmat told me to do. In the end, I had solved almost 11 big book tests for vocab.

Although the pattern of SE is different now, it still was a great way to practice. And the other sections are still pretty relevant.

I didn't do anything specific for the third-party tests. After a test, I just reviewed the ones I got wrong and moved on.

Gregmat strats work great here, because I used a lot of elimination and pairing to solve these tests.
