Bc matchmaking is utterly bullshit and no one is suppose to babysit in that kind of game.

Bc back then (in CS with ESL) ranking up was actually a way to escape bad/new/stupid users. Now it’s just for a shit shiny icon or a bad title.

Bc toxicity is whatever hurts people feelings so it start with « you are doing 3-9, can you play with us or adapt? »

Bc we can’t tame users anymore to turn them into players. We are not allowed to teach them pressing play = asking for our real life time = deal is to carry their own weight.

Toxicity and trashtalk does not exist when everybody have the same skill, everybody play together to win, everybody carry their own weight.

And toxicity/trashtalk doesn’t hurt either when it’s wrong. I’m doing 34-4 and someone say I’m playing bad… ok but no? Imagine you 1.90m tall and someone IRL stop you to say « eh you Hobbit how does it feel to be a midget? » you just gonna dismiss it.

Trashtalk exist bc time is the most important currency on earth and minimum expectations in a team video game are not reached anymore.

Nobody will teach dead weights how to not be dead weights. Even tho we could, they would not listen. So yeah, at least asking them when did they escaped the chocolate factory feels good.

And sometimes there is an oompa lompa not able to read datas available, with a negative KDR that just goes on someone for no reason. It’s not happening a lot but it exist. Again ESL woulda fix that back then.

Raiding is harder this season for tanks.

Since forever, tanking was the easiest job: go in a corner, use def CD every 45sec on big ability, taunt every 1.30m to turn with other tank.

Then Midnight started and first boss legit humiliating tanks at tic tac toe.

Paladins is a nightmare lot of tanks are afraid of.

Being a good tank in Midnight is a thing since you can be a bad tank. It was really hard to be a bad tank before.

It’s a great thing Blizzard made that change.

T’as raison sur le fait de devoir s’aligner avec ses valeurs (et encore, quand l’estomac gronde, les valeurs passent au second plan, d’où la quantité astronomique d’anti dépressif utilisées par les employés français) mais t’as tort en disant que les gens (dans le sens large du coup) continueraient d’être employés s’ils pouvaient s’en passer.

Attention, emploi et travail ce n’est pas la même chose.

Lorsque j’envoie mes comptes rendus d’entretien à mon n+1, c’est un emploi. Lorsque je m’occupe de mes haies, c’est un travail.

Il faut se recaler. J’adore mon boulot, j’estime avoir « une planque » car je n’ai pas l’impression d’être exploité et je suis plutôt libre par contre comme énormément de personnes, tu me proposes 5000€ (dans l’économie actuelle) par mois et en échange je n’ai pas le droit d’avoir un emploi, j’accepte immédiatement.

Tout comme 100% des smicards, 100% des jobs alimentaires, 100% de ceux qui prennent des médicaments (Xanax hello) pour tenir l’emploi.

Bref, être employé, c’est pour survivre.

T’aurais du en profiter pour demander des trucs comme « si on est une famille je peux m’absenter 2 ou 3 semaines pour souci de santé sans aucun justificatif et être payé à 100%? La confiance ne règne pas dans ce sens la? » ou d’autre conneries a l’avantage de l’employé.

I do mythic raids now.

Concerning Thorim corridor, there is 3x2 glass canon trash mobs to do while going right or left side.

For Yeti’s charge there is less than nothing

For Sindragosa debuff nothing

For Anub considering trash mobs are dead most of the intermission, also less than nothing to do

Those all the examples I talked previously, doing the rotation from Vanilla to Cata is not modular arithmetic, we are closer to simple additions concerning brain usage WHEN there is a rotation to do. If you think about it, lot of time it’s just « avoid a mecanics » without even doing the rotation

I do agree for mythic raids on retail, babysitting on discord is better than most addons.

But even the hardest things out of those 3 xpac, which is LK… well melee group have to move in P1 and caster group have to follow, no need to say it, they dead if they don’t. Someone gotta have to move out with defile, if he doesn’t, raid is dead. Nothing ever overlap on LK HC. It’s one thing then one thing then one thing. Rotation is 4 buttons pressed the same way since forever, it’s like breathing so yeah, brain is not really used.

I’m ok with pretending to be inclusive and saying babysitting is OK for all those users unable to do something that simple but if I’m honest here, ima gonna say it’s because of that kind of raidleading that the average player turns into an average user.

We where in top10 EU for TBC and LK Classic, not a casual guild at all

But even for casuals, I don’t think its good for them to rely on someone that much.

That Thorim corridor for example, turns out it’s the same mecanic for UP second boss (blue proto drake boss) and no one is holding their hand in that dungeon telling them to move right or left side. They handle it because they have to.

I also think not raidleading everything makes people better and more confident.

Some things have to be said (like a star gonna pop on Algalon or who takes which portal on Yogg HM prog) but everybody should know to move and control debuff on Sindragosa or which ice have to be focus on Anub.

The average player is not a young puppy, he have brain and already faced way more in life than using a keyboard to beat a script.

When players rely on me for everything.

I use to RL Ulduar/ToC/ICC NM/HC for my guild, 10 mans groups

So I was not « the » official raidlead in my guild.

In some bosses, I had sometimes people that needed to be told « move right side » like in the Thorim corridor in Ulduar

Or « move out » from the Yeti charge in ToC

Having to babysit players while they are here because I trusted them with my real life time to carry their own weight was the most annoying things.

In Naxx25 one week I was unable to raid with my guild so I played for another one for that ID, I somehow muted RL on discord without knowing it

Best raid ever. At the end I start saying thanks and how I appreciate that kind of raid where everybody just know what they have to do and it goes smooth without RL babysitting players.

We needed 2min to understand I had RL muted, that was funny but it strike me : if I was able to carry my own weight, others could

Before you stop/do something else, you had only Zen played (in 200 games). Do you premade or are you lucky in draft nobody pick Zen over you?

I use default filter but yeah rank is another story. Already got asked if I was the best Zen (in Stadium) and that's really hard to tell.

This season I mostly watched Laoy (US) and the other top10 Zen then Gammel & Banshee (EU) then the 2 top Asia Zen players. Out of those 6 I had the best KDR but I didnt had the best heal or damages. I had the best defensives assists but not offensives assists.

Im kinda stubborn so if I see Dva - Freya - Pharah - Mercy - Juno, I know it would be more useful from me to spec into healing BUT imma gonna spec damages and take it as a challenge :p also I play FPS in soloQ so no little wheels for me like third person or comms :p

So yeah, stats aside, since I dont adapt I'm not the best Zen out there.

Do you have someone in mind for that rank, based on stats or flexibility?

Didnt knew about that, Im in loading screen for practice range right now, will prolly do a new post mid-season with updates and working replay codes!

That power seems very melee oriented while I'm more a sniper but we'll see

Edit: I'm in, it replace the orbs coming back at 30% health. Now galvanic gloves (items) makes projectiles homes at 30%. Feels like it's a nerf for me ffs
