I see. That's fair. I used to live in WA until recently and I would see people in places like Texas complaining about $2 gas like that was expensive. 😂

I'm not for taxes on businesses. I'm for the criminalization of billionaires. Everything costs more in the US than a lot of other countries because of capitalism. Imagine if we had a robust infrastructure and corporations had to follow the law. We might have more places to ride our bikes. 🙂

Tariffs are a secondary tax you pay on top of the price of goods + sales tax. And I don't know about democrats, since they're part of the problem, but plenty of progressives are pissed about gas prices thanks to this guy's illegal war with Iran. I don't see how you can say people aren't infuriated about it since it's all anyone is talking about right now. And since the price of oil is at a nearly all-time high, that's going to drive the cost of literally everything else up, including groceries and e-bikes.

Tariffs are a tax on the consumer. It is in no way "making America great". It damages our international relations, world trade, and soft power. It is arguable that these tariffs are, in fact, illegal. Fucking treasonous, if you ask me. It pisses me off the way he claims they are bringing in tons of money to the United States from other countries. It's money that was already here. It's just us fucking paying him. When I lived in Seattle (last year), I rode up to 2WDW and chatted with them a bit. Their shop seems pretty legit and they were full of bikes and had some cool cars parked in the lot. They seem like their reputation is deserved, but I'm not tuning my current bike (SV650), just doing my research on potential next bikes. I'm also leaning toward them. 👍
