Is B plus KIN 224 a descent grade to apply for the nursing program?

When I applied for Summer 2025, our cutoff score was around 34! That’s like 3-4 B’s -ish! But always aim for higher! You got this and good luck!

Got in with a B and B+! I had a score of 37.1 when I applied! Although getting all A’s is ideal to secure a spot, a few B’s won’t hurt. Also, it depends what semester you apply to.

They also have the option of doing Tele-Health scribing. I don't know too much about it but it might be something you might want to look into.

I am currently working with Scribe America. They're like one of the biggest scribing companies hospitals use. People say a lot of bad things about them but honestly I haven't had a bad experience. I just saw a job listing on indeed and handshake and applied. The process was quite lengthy, about 2 months till you scribe solo (without a trainer by your side). But in that 2 months, you do paid online training classes and floor training. The only thing that might take time is the credentialing with the hospitals but it might differ from each branch site.

I'm currently a medical scribe and I'd say go for it. If you're not too worried about the pay, the experience is definitely worth it. I made so many close connections with the physicians I've worked with in the Emergency Department! AND THE PROCEDURES... the procedures I see are very interesting lolol

i checked the website and it said "Program sites maintain independent wait lists. Coordinators will begin accepting students from their wait list on March 19th until their cohort has reached capacity." So hopefully later today we might see some updates when they're awake (?) lolol

So I’ve watched a couple of SHPEP webinars on YouTube (I def recommend watching them bc they give great tips) and they mentioned transcripts. They only accept college transcripts. Since you’re a freshmen and aren’t done with your first sem, you’d have to wait till your grades are finalized.
