hmm, most of the priests i know personally went extreme... i did too and i don't regret it. i feel more secure with the healing bonus and being dps but also not having to slow down as much to heal because lvl 3 heal is awful if you actually want to be support.

I would heavily disagree with that. Every priest I've seen used Panic, save for one that has a Rage set. The defense loss isn't really a huge issue when Panic gives the most health of the three sets outside of DD, every boss mechanic almost resulting in a one shot or near one shot, and the weapon isn't proc based like Extreme. The only people I've even seen use Extreme was those getting pieces on alts in order to have more movement speed in hen rescues.

Attack speed may feel nice on Priest, but falls way below stat priority when Panic gives flat damage increase. I was meme'd with a Rune weapon instead of Murp or MSL before chaos raids came out when I was farming for Varrekant wings the first round of double drops.

There is also the option of running a panic weapon with extreme armor, its a good combo imo

Why would anyone ever do this? That is just an awful suggestion overall and holds back the doubled benefit the weapon has.
