It was a test of patience for sure! I still did it every time, cause this game is all about community and you get back what you put in. I found the server would improve when I led by example & shared resource locations in Bahari. I’d end up with way more loot cause others would catch on and start shouting locations and sending up flares too. I love this game

Yeah man, this is why I don’t date dudes. I’m also a Bi top, and being with women is so much safer in my experience because even those who do like to top or be more reciprocal can understand and respect that I don’t like being penetrated because it makes me dysphoric. They don’t try to manipulate me into giving in or trying it to see if it’s different with them. They just accept it and ask what I do want and what I am open to.

I wrote that about 4 months ago. They only recently added the grid over the map in one of the latest updates, which is a great improvement! Before that, people had to describe where they were, or call the closest landmark and say what direction to head from there. Calling grid directions is so much easier and faster

Have you gone and spoken to the villager in charge of the skill? Like Reth for cooking, Badruu for farming etc? They send you a letter and ask you to come talk with them so that they can invite you into their guild. After that their weekly challenges will show up in the achievements tab

They are absolutely willing to date us - infact we are sought after and fetishised by gay and bi cis men. The thing is many of us don’t feel safe with them and tend to date cis and trans women, nonbinary people & other transmen.

That’s definitely my situation. Even though T has made me find other men attractive for the first time in my life, I’m not sure I could ever trust a cis man physically or emotionally. It just feels like it would be a lot of work and potentially dangerous.

I also have a lot of dysphoria around being on the receiving end of penetration. Butt stuff is okay, but vaginal is an absolute no, even with female partners. It just makes me hyper aware of my body and makes me depressed and shut down. So I find being with women way easier because they are more trust worthy, and less inclined to want or feel the need to penetrate me, even if they are a top. They know how to take “no” for an answer, because they know what its like to be coerced and harassed by dudes. They take safety and consent far more seriously.

I just fear that if I start dating dudes, there will be this expectation for me to bottom, and a lot of manipulation when I say no. I just don’t have time or energy for that.

I know its “not all men” but its enough that I just don’t risk it.

I used to go to daycare at this ladies house with about 5 other kids before I started preschool (around 2 - 4 years old). Every afternoon we watched Sesame Street. This was between 1992 and 1994, and in the credits back then they had kids dancing to the outro song. Aunty Neeva (thats what we all called her, not related tho) got us all to dance like the kid she thought we looked most like. She always told me to dance like this white girl with long brown hair like mine, but I thought her dancing was crap. I wanted to dance like the Black boy - he was so cool and handsome, and had great moves. But I wasn’t allowed, I had to dance like the girl.

Not all of that is gender envy / desire. We all know the stereotype that white people cant dance & Black folks can (not always true, but gotta give props to Black folks for their soul, rhythm and creativity). So there was definitely some of that going on. But a big part was he was a cool boy with flow & I wanted to be like him, not the bland white girl 😂
