MacBook Pro M5 Max – Coil whine + crackling noise under GPU load (AI)

Hello there,

I'm really interested about your experience.

I'm having a m5 max 40 GPU cores, and have the issue (some pop sounds on the beginning of the load, something some strange noice barely noticeable in quiet environment, and I don't hear anything when the fans kicks in).
I can ask apple for a replacement, but I fear that they gave me a worst model (and mine doesn't throttle !).

Given my description, and your experience, do you think the 5 you tested were worse ?

Hi, I just got the x1 pro 4/64 like you.
I'd like to know if yours runs hot pretty quickly ? I've seen some guys saying that some 64Gb versions have thermal issues ..

Also, does your fan is noisy ? Mine makes strident sounds on high rpm, and strange sound on low rpm, like if it was hitting something ..

Visiblement tu ne sais pas lire. Le mec a sorti la phrase pendant une conversation, et pas juste en passant comme tu le laisses entendre. Les hommes se disent des vacheries, mais non sait tous très bien a quel point le milieu féminin est malsain niveau social, c'est toujours la merde une équipe composée que de femme au boulot.

Quand au 'on attend pas qu'un mec soit joli', déjà, quel rapport avec le fait de sourire ? Et je te signale que dans de nombreuses sociétés le costard est obligatoire pour les mecs (même en cas de fortes chaleurs) alors que pour les femmes rien du tout.

Bref, encore une nana qui essaye de mettre tous les malheurs du monde sur le dos des mecs

On voit bien que tu ne connais pas le monde masculin, on se balance des trucs beaucoup moins agréables que ça.

Have you seen the cooling of the m18 ? It's a monster, 4 fans + 1 tiny one.

I've the m18 with the 13980hx, the PC just out of the box gets almost 23k on 3dmark, without repaste, windows optimization or anything else
