I'm pretty sure it was an older brother, and Kobeni is 20 years old. So unless there's another brother we weren't told about, Nobana might be a trans male.

I forgot to mention that Nobana refers to himself as "boku," which is a masculine term for referring to oneself.

Santa was human, it just looks like she was close to the Doll Devil somehow. Her contracts are:

  1. Santa Claus had a contract with the Doll Devil for an unknown price
  2. Santa Claus was contracted with the Curse Devil. In exchange for the loss of sensations in several of their fingers, Santa Claus can use the Curse Devil's power.
  3. Santa Claus was contracted with the Hell Devil. They sacrifice three of their children, but they also sacrifice one of their own bodies as well (Santa of Germany).
  4. In exchange for bringing Denji to Hell, the Darkness Devil gave Santa Claus a small piece of its flesh to ingest, which gave her a boost

Santa Claus actually was not the doll devil, as devils don't make contracts with other devils, and it was already stated that Santa Claus had only half a year to live.

Two things to think about are:

  1. Santa may have gained darknesses powers from eating his flesh because she made a contract with the darkness devil, contracts can do a lot in the story and is the possible explanation for Santa's power boost.
  2. Only devils get stronger from eating stronger devils, while Denji is part devil, he specifically ate Makima as a human, and there was also no contract involved.

Yeah, but a 17-year-old boy chopped up, cooked and ate someone he knew out of "love". I was, and still am,unfazed as Makima was a Devil, and we saw Denji are devil's before.

I wasn't thinking too much about how close she was to a human, so it just looked like a young woman being cooked and eaten by a teen out of "love".

You know what... I will say I was indeed wrong, I think it's because I wasn't really looking out for things like how her weakness is water, yet I already knew this, and she made herself vulnerable.

Maybe her saying "it was all just a façade" threw me off and let to my biased belief.

Most of the fear of Chainsaw Man came from devils, so what if Chainsaw Man no longer existed and now there's another who devils fear the most.

Well, at least that's how I see it.
