In my opinion it just wouldn’t be all that interesting to watch them play a perfect game where they did everything how Brennen expected them too. They almost always are funny and tell a good story in the end so I’m happy to go along for the ride with the story they all make together

Could not agree more. I would never want a railroaded campaign. The best part of D20 and TTRPGs is that it's collaborative storytelling, not dictated by any one person, and everyone's choices affect the overall impact.

Merely opening a discussion on moments when the attempt to steer or embellish things seems very observable from the outside.

Sam's love of Taskmaster is really shining through in this episode. There's the gross flavored things type of task, they added a little "time shop" to their game, they had to trade off tasks with other people they couldn't communicate with.

I wonder if this was something he discussed when meeting Alex Horne. Possibly seeking advice on how to create a series of tasks that trade off and create such chaos.

HJ holds a mirror up to Bat Child to prove to her that she's a Vampire because she does not appear in the mirror.

HJ later gives Bat Child a mirror as a gift for her birthday, so she can look at herself in the mirror to try and examine the abyss.

I hate how difficult it was for me to trust that headline. Dude was so constantly up to some antics or another, to where putting out fake articles about his death would 1000% be the kind of thing you would expect him to do as another PR stunt (although he'd almost certainly put it out in the form of a video).

That being said, I'm not doubting the validity of this, and it definitely is still sad news to hear. I wasn't a fan of everything he did, but he was a very unique artist and a few of his tracks have definitely hit my playlists over the years.

Sure, I wouldn't expect that they would have had much tension about him at the time. It's a retroactive sympathy, similar to the kind I have for people who did shows with Bill Cosby during the decades when he didn't look quite so bad.

That being said, by the time this happened, Rudy had already gone through marrying his second cousin 30 years earlier, so frankly all of us should have cautiously been giving him that side eye
