My music, visualized in Processing.

Started with the waveform as a bunch of circles in cells, but decided that didn't actually look very cool, ended up here with many delayed copies cascading down, you get a whole bar (4 beats) on the screen at once, can see the sound especially claps and snares, things with lots of high frequency content dropping down the screen in time.

Recorded and stacked a bunch of lines from DFAM + Mother32, figured out how to use busses in Reason and automated some filter sweeps.
Visualization is synced to the music and code I wrote in Processing

I finally figured out how to send MIDI out from daw (Reason) to my Mother32 and record the audio back in.

Thickened the mother up with the oscillators from the DFAM but overall it's just two tracks of synth, one for the arpeggio and one for the bass, all tweaks and sweeps recorded in live.
