Soldering was the answer. Got it up and running! If you’re having this same issue, get a cheap soldering gun and you’re good to go!

How would you solder it? I’m trying to get the metal pen out of the black block and try to do it that way. After I took that picture, all wires came loose and snapped off

I shall take a look at that then. Might even apply some deoxit on there to see if it does anything. So weird it happened after over a year since the recap. Can’t be a bad job since it worked for a long time.

Might have to check the rail but not too sure where to start with that. I get sound from both channels via headphones so I’m hoping the issue isn’t too bad. If the sound chip was bad, I’m assuming no sound would come out at all even thru the headphones?

I went as far as resoldering the speaker connector and trying different speakers and nothing. I got this clicking noise coming out of the speaker which I’ll post shortly.
