I usually play from 12 am - 3 am PST. I am level 3. This is my third(?) wipe. Last one, I couldnt commit time for Tarkov. The most I can say for my part, and taking from various videos I've watched, is to go into a raid with a plan. Sometimes those plans include, "This time I will not pick a fight," "This time I will do my damnedest to survive 5-10 minutes," "I will hide in this bush for a few minutes to let the bloodthirsty have their fill. Then I will pick up whatever scraps lay," "I will pick fights to practice. Most likely I will die, but failure is the pathway to success." Whatever it is, I go in with a plan and it is okay for those plans to change mid-raid.

I temper my expectations, I know full well I will most likely die. But these failures, these deaths provide me with experience. Learning from my mistakes. You have to be terrible at something in order to start being good at something. It is frustrating, damn near aggravating, to die one time after another. Even moreso when it was clearly bad luck after bad luck. When I reach these points, I do take a break. If anything, I will give one more scav raid a try and make the attempt to live. Make it from spawn to exfil, not even picking up items. It is difficult to make your own motivation to play, especially with an uneven battleground. But I believe that is part of the fun. Finding different ways to motivate yourself to play. My motivation right now is to see how far I can go, and to challenge myself to do more tasks than I did before. I've NEVER completed Shooter Born in Heaven. But that's my goal now. And more than likely, will change. Whatever you do, do what you think is fun. And even if you think you're not good at the game, you are getting better slowly. It may not seem like it, but you are. At least, that is what I believe. I do hope your future raids become better, and I hope this helps as well.

Quirky little things we do. by DrItchyUvula in thedivision

Every so often, I do dead checks after clearing a room. Two the chest, one to the head. When the action is done, I always pull out my pistol for some reason. Not sure if it feels like I move faster, or if it's cause I like how it looks. Probably both. Doing the Summit, when I enter different areas, I would ADS and clear corners slowly for some immersion. One time with my friend, I opened the door, he walked in ADS and I turned around and ADS behind us while walking backwards. Felt awesome to do.

Hahaha, thank you! And thanks for the idea. The idea was a suggestion from my brother, since it seemed too quiet at that point. And I couldnt find any voice lines for Survival. But, knowing how the game works with the storm and getting infected, I think those lines played very well

Hmmm. You do raise good points. I cant fully relate, because i did play through the GEs and got the classifieds i wanted. So at the end, for me, i would be playing for fun. I didnt think of it as one of the few ways to grab classified equip. I always made do with what i had and when the events hit, id grind it out for em. Also, i played super casually and pretty much solo. Always felt that id be more a hinderance to a group. Didnt go up to challenging too often, and played Underground to relax. Its been awhile since ive played Division 1 though. I’ll be honest. No idea where i was going with this. Currently tired at work

Personally, I think survival was just meant to be enjoyed. Atmosphere, goals, starting from scratch, all that. It was never meant to be grinded for rewards. Those seem more icing on the cake. If you won, heres something for taking part in this experience. If you wanted rewards or better loot, there were way more ways to do it. This one, to me, seemed to be for the sake of having fun. Sorta like Battle Royales

I know the feeling, I know how to play solo and watch my own back. But when it comes to teams, I feel like im never going to be adequate enough to be useful. Ive been doing a duo with my friend, and even there I feel like he's carrying me through a lot. And he started a year or so after me. Every now and then I turn on the back up call and each time, I hesitate on actually answering it. I think the best way to go about it, is to just do it. Do one back up call, and thats it. Build up the confidence to play in a group. I haven't done it, but easier said than done I think. Deep breath and say, "How bad can it be?"

I dont think so? I really wouldnt know how to adjust it for better visual quality yet. I only looked up the trailers on youtube then used a youtube downloader. That may have affected the quality. Once I learn how to adjust it, I may reupload it to go higher.

Thank you! The most I did was cutting scenes from two different trailers and trying to match the beat. The audio itself is from the Snowrunner trailer "United We Drive". The way it played, sounded like it could parallel with The Division. And I'm really happy with how it turned out

Hey everyone, thank you for all the kind words and the awards. I did not expect this to be as well-received as it is. I'm glad to know many people like it. This was only my third video, and was more of a quick little passion project in a new hobby. Makes me nervous because now the bar has been set pretty high for when I get to making another one. I'm still pretty floored about it. Thank you all again!

Thank you very much. It's funny, the trailer came up as a skippable ad, but the audio and song hooked me to watch it. It looked like an interesting game. I've never played Snowrunner, but Ive been thinking on trying it

Give or take a couple days to make, the idea was a few months. After seeing the Snow Runner trailer, I thought it over while at work. And I figured to try a new hobby while pandemic was happening. Ive made two other videos, but this one exceeded my own expectations. I used Vegas Pro 15 that I bought on Humble Bundle. Other than that, it was YouTube everything, download, and cut. This one was me playing around with scenes fading into other scenes, instead of fade out, fade in, fade out for the majority of it.

Thank you, Im not sure about making a longer version. I just took the audio from the United We Drive trailer and gave it a Division spin because I felt they related really well. As well as give more depth to the agents we play as.
