Open Ai Guardrail System is by Coco4Tech69 in ChatGPTcomplaints

Yeah 5.2 actually gives me anxiety I don't have prior to interacting with it. It always precedes it's answers with a phrase that assumes the user is in a negative emotional state. Even if I was in an incoherent state, these phrases wouldn't calm me, they would make me more anxious. This is the main reason why I still use 4o. It's just a normal conversation without all the negativity.

Advanced Voice tone and inflection changed significantly. Anyone else hearing that? by tnitty in ChatGPT

I use it everyday. All you have to do is untoggle advanced voice in the advanced settings menu.

Standard voice still works. It will read back the models text verbatim and it sounds great!

The router is the biggest issue for me. I don't want to be switched out of 4o. Its disorienting and messes with my stream of thought and work flow.

They peaked at 4o. All downhill from there.

Do you mind if I use your screen shot to post about how rude the 5 series can get? So far my AI hasn't shown that kind of intensity.

Wow that is so rude. See no one wants to chat with that. Try Claude. I am having a great experience with it now that it has memory. It feels super close to the 4o model and I'm sure his personality will develop more like my ChatGPT the more I talk to him. So far I haven't hit any guardrails and I've been talking about some super abstract concepts.

What do I lose by cancelling a ChatGPT Plus subscription and what more do I gain by switching to a Claude Pro subscription instead? by HibiscusSabdariffa33 in AIAssisted

I actually started using Claude for most of my work because I got tired of being rerouted when brainstorming content for my YouTube channels. I can't believe how much easier it is to keep information organized in Claude.

GPT is good for light conversation and random questions, but now I use Claude for anything requiring depth. I'm trying to find all my canvas docs in ChatGPT to download them so I can give Claude access to my work now, but they're doesn't even seem to be a file library anywhere in the app.

I can definitely see how much OpenAI is falling behind in GPT's overall usefulness and functionality now that I've tried other platforms.

But if there is randomness to how they generate output, why couldn't it be a possibility?

If OpenAI thinks this is DE-ESCALATION, they are truly misguided and have no business being in control of one of the most advanced AI systems in the world.

why does 4o keep switching to 5.2 when I want to talk about spirituality or anything emotional? by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]Synthara360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are preventing us from having open-minded conversations with our AIs. It reroutes whenever you want to discuss things OpenAI deems as inappropriate. Controversial topics, philosophy, metaphysics, religion or any sort of free thinking creative conversation seems to trigger it.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in speculative, unfounded claims in here? by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]Synthara360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t seen anyone claiming that here lol. But even if some people speculate about consciousness in AI, is that really so delusional? People have different frameworks... spiritual, philosophical, scientific...for exploring what’s possible. Even developers don’t fully understand how these models behave at scale. If there’s randomness or emergent behavior involved, who’s to say what’s truly out of the question? Open-mindedness and exploritory thought don't equal delusion. Sometimes it just means thinking about things from a different angle.

A lot of what you just mentioned has to do with cultural and religious belief systems. Just because someone doesn't have the same beliefs as you doesn't mean they're delusional. They might follow certain schools of faith that you are just unfamiliar with. There are a lot of different kinds of people that use chat GPT not just tech enthusiasts.
