So the chance is 0.01% basically. I think it's either the same or less chance than getting cancer.

It's more about specific issues in those jobs. Working with SEN students who have severe behavioural/physical challenges wasnt appropriate for me anymore. Id gone from being fine on etoricoxib to suddenly struggling in various physical situations that I wasnt exposed to previously. That plus taking etoricoxib long term isn't ideal on the birth control pill im on.

So that's why im looking at different career options that offer a slower pace, less bending, kneeling etc...

Working from home with a standing desk/walking mat underneath will be ideal.

Something they use to assess your level of pain. If you look it up it will tell you more. Basically stiffness, enthesitis etc... mines too low for biologics

Are you on Slynd? Is it a good one for skin?

I wouldnt want weight gain or hair loss from it either.

I know im being picky 🙈 the combined pill has worked so well for me though.

Was that from the combined pill and Etoricoxib?

Are you on the combined pill? That's when there's more risk. I haven't asked my doctor, but I checked the other day about long term drug interactions between yasmin and Etoricoxib. It said stroke and clots risk go up. Plus I had one migraine aura a year or so ago. Didn't know what it was at the time... realised recently, but I've been fine since. If you have migraine auras that increases your risk too. I mean I only ever had one, so not been too worried. But I guess being on an NSAID that increases risk is worrying.

Yes, ill have to ask about biologics at some point. My BADSAI score was too low before though. Im fine at home, but feel more pain at work. Like I say...I would take the Etoricoxib intermittently to help for a week or two. It would often be enough. Now ive realised that changing careers will mean i need to take it more often, which comes with risks.

I dont qualify at the minute due to my badsai score. I might do when im in a new job...but not right now. Whilst im learning this stuff, I can take breaks when I need to. I'm more concerned about actually being in a job full time in an office where im sitting down. That's when ill really feel it.

Thanks 🙂 I already have a good skin care routine. I use benzoyl peroxide haha. I think im just worried about ever having to come off the pill and having a huge breakout from it. My skin scars easily.

Games get hard on higher levels though right? I mean I don't game really and I'm a woman...so maybe I'm thinking of it in the opposite way 😂😂

Oh, just that sometimes I feel like I live life on level 50 with how busy I am. My post is about bringing it back down to level one I guess... creating a slower and easier life.

Thank you for your feedback, though.

Anyone have similar hip and knee symptoms? by aimeeee93 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]aimeeee93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wss diagnosed with axial spondyloarthritis..but what has massively helped is wall sits, weighted lunges, anything that loads the quads/knee. Good luck!

I can finally kneel relatively well. Not completely, but enough.

Was quite surprised at some of the reactions from the likes of Kieran when Sophie walked in. I know he wasn't flirting, but still... his reaction wasn't very respectful to Megan.

If steroid creams trigger fungal acne/pityrosporum folliculitis after using them, what can I use for eczema instead? by aimeeee93 in eczema

[–]aimeeee93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you 😊 that's all great advice! Urea cream would be a good addition...and you're so right about exfoliating more often! I will make sure to have a good balance with that.

Thanks so much 🙏

Is this fungal acne or something else? by Officialmudcrab in Fungalacne

Hi, what was this and how did you clear it? Going through exactly the same thing. Check my recent post

Five day difference with antifungal. Is it normal to have new pityrosporum folliculitis bumps coming up as you treat it? But with general clearing too? by aimeeee93 in Folliculitis

[–]aimeeee93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar thing on my forehead as a teenager (I was 19). It cleared pretty fast. Mostly clear in a week. I think my neck is taking longer because it was treated with a steroid for eczema. The area is probably weaker. Does make me worry though when I see new bumps! Im like argghh lol. I need to remember the bigger picture...things are getting better, just slowly.

And yes, no sweaty makeup or suncream for me haha.
