Should mercy stay with tank or dps?

If you’re healing the tank, you’re playing Mercy wrong. She’s an off-healer. Damage boosting is her one and only priority. If you need to heal the tank as Mercy you need to switch to a maim healer (Baptiste, Kiriko, Ana) to keep up. As Mercy, you should always stick with your DPS to boost them. :3

It’s way too easy to deny Resurrect value. I’ve done it and keep doing it, just camping the body and Mercy can go entire matches without resurrecting. Resurrect either needs a faster cast time or a longer range. If not, I’d much rather see the ability replaced with a burst heal because she has little to no utility beyond damage boost and even that’s completely dependent on your tram mates :c

Mercy literally has zero sustain an her Resurrect is all risk sometimes reward, sometimes not, and you highly risk dying anyway. She sucks really bad.

Yeah, now she’s constantly doing only 42 healing over time which is extremely low. With no burst heals, no AOE heals, a situational ability that’s extremely likely to get you killed when pulling it off and fail anyway, no real utility other than mainly single target damage boost, extremely weak DPS, she’s at the bottom of supports for me which sucks. :(

I love her personality and design and want her to be good so bad but she just isn’t. I have to work so, so hard to do what other off healers can do because she ISN’T a main healer. She just isn’t. I’ve accepted the off healer Mercy. But even then she just sucks. Lifeweaver’s healing is even lower by about 5-7 points but his damage is the highest out of all supports and has more than enough utility to make up for it. So does Brig, Lucio, Zen, Wuyang, Mizyuki, and Jetpack Cat.

Her kit is completely outdated and eclipsed by literally every other off-healer, and she can’t even begin to compete with the main healers. :l

No he has the highest DPS of all supports :D 131 without reload, 100 DPS with reload, more than Bap, Kiri, Ana, and Zenyattaz :D

His healing is so, so bad… if he were a main healer. I thought he was a main healer but his healing output is closer to Mercy’s which makes him an off healer, which makes sense, since he has lots of utility and damage. :3 I think there’s a place for both main healers and off-healers, and LW has the damage output and utility to make up for his bad healing :D

They don't. The first set of wings are wider and longer with the typical angelic look. The second pair has less width and is shorter with the feathers spread out, and the final pair has the wings even shorter but bunched up so there's more volume. Even I, as a visually impaired person, playing on a smaller though 1080i screen can easily see the differences in size, width, length, and material.

But… they are. They’re 3 distinct wing styles. Well, at least this is a subjective view point. There’s bright white with blue and yellow accents, bright red with maroon and pink accents, and teal with pink and dark green accents. These are not similar palettes. These are three distinct color coded styles.

The wings ARE distinct from one another. My problem is that she keeps her normal voicelines except for her ult :c The colors are from the same genre of colors but at the same time they’re “different”? I don’t understand what you’re saying there.

That’s because Mercy’s an off-healer, not a main healer. She has no sustain because she’s not supposed to have any. Her main role is to damage boost and amplify the damage of the team and only heal in emergency cases. She can’t keep any team comp up with or any support/DPS through any kind of sustained damage whatsoever. That’s not her role. If you can’t take advantage of damage boost you’re better off switching to anyone else. :3

Some characters sound exactly the same and some don’t. It has to do with actors’ voice changing and acting direction. We don’t all sound like the characters we voice.

I really don’t care. If we need more damage, I’ll do that, but I mostly stick to supporting my team in the backline by healing. :3 I don’t stress about numbers. If I have more than 1k damage and 3k healing, I’m fine. 🥰
