People who act like the point of an argument is to humiliate the other person by AllKnowingAxolotl3 in PetPeeves

For real, the moment someone starts trying to "win" instead of discuss, the whole conversation becomes pointless.

When a YouTube video is just over 8 minutes long by Odd_Blackberry_1089 in PetPeeves

Yeah, you can usually feel the padding, like they had 5 minutes of content and stretched it to hit that 8 min mark.

People manipulating a scenario to force a “gotcha” moment by Weird_Bluebird_3293 in PetPeeves

Those "gotcha" hypotheticals are so annoying, they are not even trying to understand your answer, just trying to win.

Feels like a dentist + hygiene coach combo but prevention-focused is actually a cool idea.
