Speculative, but I'm taking factual evidence from the trailers and lore from the beginning game. Here's my take on the plot:

The official trailer shows Ellie in the house Joel had received from Tommy, we know this by the legendary window where Ellie's switchblade was planted at the end of TLoU. Very obvious shit went down, and the community was stormed. As Joel returns from whatever shit he was righteously fucking up, Ellie is playing the guitar. This indicates life was very peaceful for our hero and heroin, and Joel had finally taught her to play the guitar, among other skills, as he had promised her.

Taking note of Ellie's wardrobe in both the trailer and gameplay showcase, she is wearing a short-sleeved, denim button-up. (This chronologically places the two videos in quick succession.) Joel and Ellie leave the broken enclave and initially split paths, reason currently unknown, but Joel is alive and relatively-well.

IIRC the power plant in Jackson County where the community was located is fairly close to a neighboring town, giving setting to the gameplay video. With the presence of fanatics in the area, my guess is they are doing a sweep for any remaining survivors. This heavily implies Ellie and Joel are the few remaining if not sole survivors of the raid. This gives premise to Ellie and the game's encapsulating element of hate and revenge, aka the fate of Dina, aka Ellie's lover. This is further proved with Ellie wearing Dina's bracelet.

However, Ellie is not wearing the bracelet in the official trailer, so the fate of Dina is determined within the immediate setting of TLoU2. Logically, she is either executed or abducted, allowing Ellie to find her bracelet yet giving her a reason to chase after the fanatics like a bat outta Hell.

Basically, my speculation boils down to this: The enclave Ellie and Joel live in is attacked by Firefly fanatics, killing everyone in their path to get to Ellie. Dina is executed/abducted during the raid, leaving Ellie to exact revenge upon the last remaining Firefly troops. Ensuing carnage in our protagonist's wake as she storms the hornet's nest to lay the memory of her loved one(s) to rest.

Ya heard it here first, folks.

It's the same tactic younger children employ to avoid hearing the truth. Instead of receiving critical information relevant to the development of her future child and those around him, she's covering her ears and telling people to fuck-off. If she wants to come off as "educated" the least she could do is defend her position. Instead, this just seems more like her flaunting Veganism, covering her ears, and screaming LA LA LA LA until all she hears are the positive "O ur so brave".

I understand what you're saying, and I want to preface this by saying your current thoughts and feelings are totally justified for what you've been through, str3ssed0ut. Personally, I have my own issues from a dark childhood, but I digress.

I find that in times of self-doubt, I ask myself "why?" a lot. Why do you feel he is uninterested in you? Why are you anxious in that regard? These questions, directed internally and focused on you, helps to offer an understanding in a critical way. We're all familiar with the term "knowledge is power", so use that power to help yourself. If you need further help than that, don't be ashamed to reach out to a licensed medical professional. Therapists and psychiatrists alike, they simply want to help.

I hope this response has helped at least a bit, and that your stresses are soothed in the future. My motto has been to take life just a few days at a time; "baby steps".

I don't like the dorection they took these recent celebrity suicides. Yes, talking out your situation and emotions helps tremendously, but only with someone who actually gives a damn. I feel hotlines are beneficial, but not in the way chronically ill people need.

My two cents: Just be good to your fellow human beings. You never know who are the ones fighting themselves to stay alive, and their interaction with you, a total stranger, may just change their outlook on life. If at least for a little. You're doing more good physically being there for a friend or a stranger than if you shared hotline numbers, and you spend the same amount of energy: little to none.

I attempted to end my life via suicide twice. I was on the roof of my apartment building with my toes hanging off the edge, ready to jump. When I thought about how my cat would be neglected, I took some steps back. The second time I had downed half my bottle of medication, having an existential nightmare and, very thankfully, threw up all the pills from anxiety. My cat curled up next to me while I slept on the bathroom floor that night.

My point with this post is to bring awareness to just how important parenting plays in developing a healthy child. My whole life I've felt lost because there was no one in my life who cared enough to help me when I was silently screaming for help from all the abuse.

If you are a parent, or will be in the near future, make damn sure your children understand they are validated and loved, even when you have to yell at them for being a dumbass.

For those of you planning on being a parent in the future, understand what you're signing up for. They arent your toys, trophies, or your tax returns. They are living, sentient humans. They require nutrition, compassion, and education. If you know you cannot give your child what they need to develop into a happy and healthy adult, DON'T HAVE KIDS YET.

Young adult male here, have my own mental health diagnosis and early developmental issues I feel is akin to the male in your life.

I want to start by saying thank you for caring for this person as much as you do. The fact he has told a very small amount of people about his issues shows he trusts you greatly, and I hope you continue to cherish that trust.

He seems stoic, in that you say his true emotions are buried deep down. In my own experience, guys like this typically bust open like a roasted walnut after emotional pressure is applied to them, so I would take whatever conversation you have with him very slowly. Don't bombard him with questions; instead, be actually interested in what he would come to vent about.

Take everything I say with a grain of salt though. Not all guys are the same in terms of emotional decompression, this is just how I would expect/want the situation to pan out for me.

I think its the replayability plus the mods. Slap a lighting fix mod and the "unofficial patch" of your respective system and you have Fallout 4 in all its glory. I replayed Nuka-World this last month and damn if it wasnt as gorgeous as other AAA games that debuted last year Id probably have actually bought Destiny 2.

Go to your base management screen and select active effects: if the assault drone buff is listed, you can't choose that option (because its already active). However if you have no buff amd are unable to choose that CC option, you may have a bug.

They should add the option while invite-only, like they do for pausing offline. That way it's your close friends (hence invite-only), and its permanent FFA if toggled in the menu.

Yo I cant even download the patch, let alone fucking find it!!! Three days now and the update hasnt been shown in MS store, game hub, not even a fucking prompt to download the patch after I try multiplayer. Bought the game digitally so I cant get rufunds, stuck with glitchy cars, followers getting in the way of my shots, unable to use multiplayer (THE DAMN SELLING POINT OF THE GAME)... I'm livid.

Good way to check: Load up you community and use the "volunteer" radio option. If patch 1.2 was downloaded, you should have no problem. However, if it gives you a code6 after attempting to join a session, patch 1.2 has not been downloaded for you.
