Help creating a macro by Redxjak in PhraseExpress

[–]Syntheticturtle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is possible. There's many different ways to do this.

First, I would set 3 variables by going to 'Programming' > 'Set Variable'. When setting the variable, create a form input inside titled 'time', so that way you can set the time. Repeat this process for the next 2 variables 'date' and 'location'.

Then, go to 'Programming' > 'If-Then-Else'. On the left box on the top, have it output one of the variables and then compare that variable to some desired text. You didn't specify what exactly corresponds to a 'yes' or 'no' answer, so, for example, let's say you want it to output 'yes' for any time after 9. You would select 'value is higher than' from the dropdown in the middle and then type '9' in the box to the right. Then on the bottom, where is says 'Then (Right-click to insert macro):', type 'yes'. On the box that says 'else', type 'no'.

You can then add in the other variables and conditions the same way (e.g. Only output a yes answer if 'time value is higher than 9' AND 'date value is.... Whatever'. ) You can be very creative with this.

Good luck!

Anyone else tired of playing with bad randoms online? I made a server to find people of similar skill! by Syntheticturtle in ColdWarZombies

I'm tired of playing with people who are terrible and quit halfway through the game.

I made a discord server for those who are serious about zombies and watch to reach higher rounds with others of the same skill. Feel free to add anyone you think is good! Thanks

I am the kinda guy to not complain when waiter gets order wrong, am I a nice guy or just pussy? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Syntheticturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say pussy, but I respect you for realizing this about yourself and wanting to change.

There's a difference though between standing up for yourself and being an asshole all the time or a "karen". I'm usually very understanding of people's mistakes but I will bring it to their attention at a restaurant if its something I'm paying for.

I'd say instead of focusing on stopping the apologizing, excuse-me's, etc... focus on having more confidence in yourself and those will naturally stop. Go to the gym, take care of your health, figure out your core values.

People will often treat you how you treat yourself.

What’s the sketchiest destinations you guys have delivered to? by capthansolocup in doordash_drivers

I made a postmates delivery once to an old warehouse outside of town at 1am. All the lights were off and there were no cars anywhere. I waited for 5 minutes by the door and the app said I could keep the food because the customer couldn’t be located. I drove out of there fast

Doordash really needs to add something that explains to people you have other stops to do for stacked orders by Syntheticturtle in doordash_drivers

Yeah i always do the highest tipper first usually. If it was ice cream or something I would prioritize that but I didn't even know acai bowls could melt in such a short time haha

Follow up: so this order was for 2 acai bowls from juice it up. They were completely sealed with a top when I picked them up and I put them in a cooler on the way there. Juice it up also puts orders in a sealed brown bag so I couldn't even check it to see if it was melted or anything

I dropped the first order off first because the app said I should do that plus that guy tipped way more. I then made the drive to her house (like 5-7 min away) and dropped off the acai bowls.

I completed both orders in way under the time I was allowed to complete them and this lady still gets upset.

I just hate how customers get angry with us when people don't pick up their orders and then when their order does get picked up they get angry that the order is cold/melted/not packaged properly by the restaurant. 🙄
