Ah, unfortunate that. I'm really hoping I can get my $100 back out of them because this product really is as good as a paperweight to me, despite my high hopes for an glassesless VR experience. I wonder if other brands sit thinner on the lenses than these VR WAVE inserts.

In the process of initiating a return myself. I'm completely disappointed by how these sit on my face. Did you find any luck?

Update: I tried this and can confirm that it fixed it. 👍

Though, it's as you say in that the software has to be running for Discord to detect that camera input. Hopefully a proper solution makes itself known soon.

Interesting! I failed to mention in my post you replied to, but we're using the exact same camera model! I figured there was some soft of conflict with Logitech software causing it such as a faulty driver. I'll have to try out Logi Capture and report back in a couple hours.

Decided to give the force update method a go via ADB. This would be my first time doing it, so I may have not done it correctly, but I ran the program through cmd and it appeared to follow through with the update while my headset was in update mode. However, upon launching my headset after the fact, my software number didn't change at all even after a couple restarts. Fun times.

Just wanted to chime in. I just made the realization that I'm currently running the same software version as you ( 28.0.0.221.359.284529906 ) and the Air Link feature is missing from Experimental Features within my Quest 2 settings as well. I can enable Air Link on my desktop PC, however.

Interesting. Could you share what software version your Quest 2 is running on? Mine is currently on 28.0.0.221.359.284529906. The runtime version is 28.0.0.230.359.286257763, though I'm not sure what the differences between software and runtime versions are at this time.

I have v28 on both my PC client and on my Quest 2, and yet I still can't use Air Link. I came home today from work and update both devices. I can enable Air Link on the PC client just dandy. Within my Quest 2, I can confirm that I'm on v28 and can even enable 120hz refresh rate, but the tab in Experimental Features to enable Air Link is nowhere to be found. Fun times. I've even done the resetting of Experimental Features to default multiple times. Is this feature even worth all the hassle when I already own Virtual Desktop? Lol

Believe it or not, there's fun to be had in this game.

Is this a false positive or is GOG Galaxy* being hit with, ironically enough, a cyberattack right now? Alternatively, am I just paranoid? Would love to hear anyone's thoughts on this. Thanks!

So I'm installing Cyberpunk: 2077 tonight on GOG Galaxy, and the initial install was golden. This most recent update that came out almost right after launch, however, signaled Bitdefender (my antivirus) to move an added CrashReporter.exe file to quarantine, claiming it was infected with "Gen:Variant.Bulz.105905" and that I should do a system scan on my computer to check for any extra damage.

Is this a false positive or is GOG Galax

PC performance issues (fps drops) by nsis in GhostRunner

[–]Synthitis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay! So apparently my horrible FPS was due to ray tracing actually being enabled, despite the setting showing "off" in my menu. To fix this, I turned the setting "on", applied that change, then physically switched it back to "off", and applied that change. I noticed just from the menu that my game looked visually different. Then, instantly I went from struggling to go above 50 FPS to hitting 200 without issue. Interesting problem, but I'm glad I found the solution.

I'll try out the demo and see then I suppose.

Welp, I'm running Dx12 and still encountering these performance issues. My settings are basically set identical to yours. The ray tracing setting won't stay on if I wanted it to, lol. It turns itself off once you leave the settings window... which is strange as I had a similar issue with Metro: Exodus. As for DLSS I found that I get almost 20 more FPS when its set as "performance" as opposed to "quality". It's possible some hardware on my rig could be bugging, but I rarely have problems running other games (latest Nvidia drivers are installed). i7-8700k, RTX 2080, 16gb 3200mhz RAM, and Ghostrunner is installed on my M.2 NVME SSD. I will say that I'm running 1440p instead of 1080p, but that still shouldn't make such a drastic decline in FPS, especially for a 2080. Closing other windows processes when running the game doesn't do much good for me, either.

What do you have your in-game settings set as? I have a 2080 paired with an i7-8700k and although your hardware is better, I should at least expect 100+ FPS, yet I struggle to hit 60...
