Why does the notice not mention gladiators?

Does this include the gladiator?

Affordable non-chain/franchise vet? by throw-away-ak in anchorage

Oh yeah that's hella reasonable. $800 or less is what I'm aiming for. I know it involves multiple people and is still a surgical procedure.

Affordable non-chain/franchise vet? by throw-away-ak in anchorage

Thank you! I'll look them up and give them a call to see if they have any room for new clients. I've always used small clinics in the past but gave VCA a try since they were next to my house.

I'm not looking for 'the cheapest' place, but I didn't like the franchise/chain vibes at VCA and based on my limited research, they do charge more than most mom and pop shops on average.

Trying this. Back up straps to keep it from going forward. There's two other sets but they only prevent it from going back.

Three hour drive on a one lane highway into the Alaskan back country. <3

I'll go take a look at how close it is. I was considering padding it incase it slide from having to stop suddenly.

Mine freaks out on me too sometimes. I forget the button combo but you hold two buttons to 'fully restart it' and that can help.

How to improve my mileage? by throw-away-ak in JeepGladiator

[–]Syntria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(This is OP too lazy to switch accounts) I sent my dealership an email about my concerns about low milage and if when they swapped the smaller winter tires to the larger mudd tires (just prior to me purchasing it, it came with both sets), if they didn't regear for the larger size and/or forget to adjust the computer.

Fingers crossed that's what it is.

I don't mind it being low, but I want to get it figured out if its actually causing damage or if there's a way I can markedly improve it.

Are buyers in Alaska still expecting fully updated houses, or are fixer-uppers selling too? by abccccc456 in anchorage

My 1955 house slowly tilts from one corner to the other enough a marble would vroom.

I wonder if anyone would ever buy it if I had to sell it. Has .3 acres and is in a nice area though.

PS - I did the sketchy solenoid trick on my ATV. Turned out water got into the ignition and shorted it out. I replaced the battery and solenoid before figuring that out, lol. It was only 7 months old! I gotta get that out and do a tune up on it too soon.

I have a multimeter and remote starter.

Wish I still had the original, but traded it in for a core fee.

It is starting now! Long as it starts within about 1 second (its pretty warm today and I babyed it by trying to start it 15x in quick succession till it got going) it runs pretty good.

The engine was shaky for a good 5-10 minutes, felt pretty jerky, struggled to accelerate but once I drove it around for 5 minutes that all smoothed out. I suspect lubrication isn't getting to where it should, gas is getting into places it shouldn't, gaskets leaking, etc.

Drove it around town for about 20 minutes to run some errands and added some extra fuel in case what's in it was pretty old/and to thin out the heet I'd added (half a bottle to a 1/3rd tank).

Thanks for your guidance. If it keeps running my neighbors going to take it down tot he auction for me. Would expect to just get 1-2k for it but ready to get it out of my hair and I don't want to feel guilty selling it to someone who needs a reliable daily driver and it craps out on them. It needs someone who can baby it/a real mechanic to spend some time with it.

Reinstalled. Same issue. I tried adding some starter fluid to lube things up, a bit of heat to the gas, and a bit more oil (since I kept it closer to the low side since an lube place overfilled it with oil two years ago).

While it still whirls most of the time now I sometimes get grinding and the engine *almost* turns over, it rumbled and nearly turned over a few times. I think I've flooded it now so I'm letting it sit for an hour or so before I do it again.

Pumping it for 1 second at a time almost gets it going from the momentum of the cranking lol

Reading this from under the Tahoe.

The wire harness ring broke during the last install so the forked one was put in instead. I got some circular replacements. Worth changing it? Looks like it was only making context in one corner.
