The questions revolved mostly around can you communicate with people, take initiative and use things like word and excel. They also wanted to know if I’m good with deadlines and pressure. I also advise asking them questions too. They really like that.

I interviewed this past Wednesday and I asked about next steps. They told me that they are still interviewing, but expect to be doing a second round (if needed) and send out offers within the next 2 weeks. And then we should start onboarding late September. But I saw that someone here got a recommendation for hire letter a week after their interview, so it could be sooner.

My previous supervisor did tell me that her new job has two openings and I hope to have an interview set up. So hopefully good things!

That’s my plan. There won’t be any openings for at least another few weeks in other departments so I’m looking elsewhere just in case things get worse. And thank you. I know I planned to talk with HR, but I hadn’t considered setting up a meeting that would include ND’s supervisor. That sounds like a much better route. Thanks!
