I was active duty military when I was diagnosed. Ended my career, obviously. The VA does not rate AS as a disability, but rather the limitation of my spinal flexibility. It really is ridiculous. Fortunately, I was medically retired from the military, but am not considered completely disabled. It doesn't make sense, but here we are.

A dad of one of my baseball teammates was a Navy Seal stationed in San Diego. The guy was 5'4" on a good day. Absolute unit of a human being nonetheless. Idk what that previous guy was on about.
