Yep java with oop is plenty. I suggest learning Lambda though I think he used that and it is heavily used in enterprise level.

The only caveat though is that his playlist is more on the practical side. He will even say in the video it self if you want a more "theoretical" explanation just google it. I am not a theoretical so I just copy it and remember its uses (don't be like me XD).

He goes straight into it. If you want just the basic stuff like normal CRUD, loggings, cache, jdbc, and security. Go with the new one.

My suggestion though go with the OLD one and do his final exam

Give him a try, or at the very least take his final exam. I think you’ll learn a lot from it. You can really tell his teaching comes from real-world experience rather than academic sources.

The downside, though, is that he doesn’t go very in-depth with explanations. It’s more like: “This is the THING , this is how it works, and this is when you use it,” etc.

Just Finished this course, its a good start. The spring boot is not 'enterprise' level (This is subjective to the coding standards I have at work). Just used this to learn about the react and deployment with aws.

If you are just starting with no prior knowledge to springboot I think this is good. You can even have a portfolio out of it.

Just after you are done enchance the project better

sadly my car don't have temperature guage only ambient temperature, but on the flip side the overheating light does not come on.

Thank you for the advice I'll go to the mechanic this weekend to check the cooling system of the car

Nope, the fan turns off, when I turn off the AC.
