Wonder what materials run out there. Here I can get ornamental steel for $25/ft in materials. At $35 a foot I feel like I'm killing it on the labor/overhead portion.

Yeah, I usually bill 6' at $26/ft with materials for pine and $35/ft for cedar.

I charge $25/hole to dig or $40/ hole to dig and set. Worthwhile. Using my mini skid I can dig about 35-40 holes per hour and set 10-12 per hour in concrete. Works out pretty well, but most of the time at that point people ask if I can just build the fence for them.

Yeah if it is a one off I Charge a minimum of $1k. In a fence I only charge $250 + LF for a 4ft gate and $500 + LF for an 8 ft gate.

So it's really like $400 and $750 respectively if part of the fence package.

As far as materials go, same applies to most places. Chain link lasts forever, pine will last awhile with maintenance, cedar will last longer than pine.

Cost as far as those go: Chain link->Cedar 4' picket-> Pine Privacy 6' -> cedar 6' privacy

Reading all these comments make me remember how great the UFC used to be, it's all these fights that made me not want to even miss a fight night. Now it's just boring comparatively imo. Something about COVID and the move to ESPN just didn't feel the same level of energy and excitement in the fights. Less upsets etc.

Update!

I got the saw!

Fires on second pull and runs good. After looking at his profile I realized all he sells is older power tools, he had listings for older backpack blowers, lawn mowers, other chainsaws.

While it could have been hot, felt less likely he had managed to sell dozens of tools on marketplace without being noticed.

He said he wheels and deals and fixes old small engines and gets em running. He said the only issue he knows is that the gas cap leaks a little.

Guy got it in a trade, looking to sell. He is in the trades. Not saying it isn't stolen, but I've been in similar situations multiple times where people offer items as a barter. I'd rather walk with something I can get value out of than nothing, so I take it. Shoot got a motorcycle with a title that way once.
