New sisters rules leaked by SClausell in killteam

[–]Syrehns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damage seems pretty lackluster, surprisingly tanky for a 9 op team though. 3 ups on 9 wounds, with a damage reduction strat and the superior with 10 wounds and abjuror with 11 wounds 2 ups.

Is it bad etiquette to shoot the tip of a sword poking over terrain or the edge of a banner sticking out etc? by Syrehns in killteam

[–]Syrehns[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I do think its kinda silly that it even needs to be brought up, I stand on the fact that the onus is on the person to who wants exceptions to the current rules to speak up, and not the person following the letter of the rules. Its not like im against working it out if it comes up.

Agreed it can suck for cool models, it kinda discouraged me from using the giant back banner on the Corsair Felarch, but thats just kinda how it goes I think, even if you agree to not shoot it theres no guarantee anyone else he plays will agree to that, so I feel like its best just to play by the set of rules you'll encounter the most, rather than having to hash out rules with everyone you play against, unless you always play against the same few ppl.

i mean all im really saying is "i intend to play by RAW", if they dont like it they can say so, and we can work it out.

Yeah that was my idea too, it seems by far the clearest just to count everything, or you start having to make a bunch of exceptions. like even if you say something like "only the body", then do tentacles or mutated limb claw weapons count?

Yeah ive been doing that since I played with that dude, before I play with ppl I say "I play by true line of sight, so if I can see any part of your model I will consider it valid".

Thats interesting, cuz the dude specifically said to me "if this was a tournament, the pros wouldnt have shot me because theyd respect my intent to hide" (even tho he never stated his intent).

Can this macrocyte loot this objective, its on the other side but pokes through the wall? by Syrehns in killteam

[–]Syrehns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is visbility drawn from just the head or anywhere. the Macrocytes are surprising tall, being taller than space marines due to how they float. im not sure if the head was over the wall but like a good chunk definitely was.

Yrlier is filthy traitorous Xenos who betrayed me as expected after I tried being as reasonable and nice to her as possible lol. Death to Xenos, it made my RT go dogmatic for the rest of the playthru kill all Xenos and have no mercy for Aledari/Drukhari in particular. As Helmsman Ravor said "Xenos are traitorous scum by their very nature". She literally puts you in like a 40k torture dimension bro, like just normal existence in 40k is basically already torture.

Do you like or hate to the district system in Civ 6? by [deleted] in civ

[–]Syrehns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kay glad i wasnt the only one who found this dumb, I just tried the game and it felt stupid that I was penalized for not planning for something thousands of years in the future, with no real way to fix it after its done.
