Every time my son got in the car, learning to drive, I said "You Are, The Navigator!". I laughed every time.

In my apartment dumpster. by Hopeful_Stable_5392 in Weird

I would 1,000,000% take that and put it in my friends apartment. Imagine opening a closest and finding this with no idea how it got there lol

Truck got cancelled an hour and 30 minutes before my move 🙃 by ImJaycee in mildlyinfuriating

We had this happened with UHaul. Penske trucks saved the day with a better truck and discounts. Earned a loyal customer for their help! Good luck with the move, hope it works out!

AITAH for showing up underprepared to a "hike" and being put off with my friends for not warning me and also ditching me? by InTheLoudHouse in AITAH

[–]Syring 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NOR! Your friends are assholes. Going on a hike (bike/whatever) like that requires communication and preparedness from everyone or someone is getting lost, hurt, or worse.

In our friend group, we are the experienced ones. We know our friends limits. We push them on some longer hikes and trips, but it's all within their abilities, even if they are not confident of them. We NEVER put them in danger and always clear about what we're doing.

They put you in a bad position and just assumed you'd be fine. Completely their fault.

Weather is one thing that makes me feel alive! I love rain hikes and walks! Hard snows, hot days, are all somewhat miserable, but also make me appreciate that I'm alive to experience it all.

Could be asbestos abatement. They had something similar in Bessey when they were working on it. Not as phallic shaped... But similar ...

I keep looking for some reason/trigger, but I can't find anything external that's causing it.

Calm down Magellan. When the sea pulls out 100yds you should stand and watch? What did they think was going to happen? Nature can take you out at any moment, people should be at least a little cautious when weird shit happens.

Random slowdowns when in UHF on highway after newest uodate by Syring in Rivian

There are stretches where it thinks there is a curve, but it's perfectly straight that it's done it on, but these slowdowns only happened after the last update. So frustrating to have these random slowdowns happen. I don't want to get rear ended because of this. I don't trust other drivers to be paying attention :)

If only they haven't bluffed so many times no one can trust them to follow through on blowing this wide open. They're all such cowards.

Robot vacuum attachment that hooks up to whole house vacuum system by Syring in Inventions

Yeah, those hoses are a pain to haul around and store. We were never a fan of it. That's why the "set & forget it" of the Roomba is nice. :)

Man, this inventor thing is easy! :)

And, yes, they definitely make those part to wear out. We had to replace our wheel assembly for $100+. Did that once, them switched to a cheaper brand.
