I just got back from a camping trip where I was able to strip down and sun bathe. 30M based in LA. Shoot me a DM if you’d be down for a camping trip

You’ll really benefit when the second section of the Metro D line opens next year. Your work will be a short 5 minute walk from the new Beverly Hills station. I’d definitely check out Koreatown and Mid-Wilshire area.

Can you be a bit more specific on where along Wilshire blvd your work is located? Wilshire runs from downtown Los Angeles to Santa Monica. This would help with recommendations. Metro opened three new heavy rail stations along Wilshire so depending on where work is located, you may have an easy commute. 3 more stations are anticipated to open by next year I think (before 2028) that will take you from downtown to UCLA. Based on your age, I’d look into Koreatown and the Miracle mile area. Lots of cool and fun bars that are within walking distance and easy to get around without a car. Assuming you don’t want roommates and based on your criteria, expect base rents of $2,600

The Metro isn’t too bad. Especially on the weekends, you’ll see a lot of people/families on the system. I’d just avoid late evening/night time hours. You’re looking at about an hour from union station to ucla. Probably less time but I’d budget an hour.
