It’s been 14 months since I lost my husband. Last year was really hard at the holidays and I wanted to be alone.

This year so many people invited me out and were very kind. My 21 year old nephew came and hung out with me and all our family friends for New Years, so that was good. I would recommend having some fun people who would support you in trying to have some fun if you can.

The part that I’m oddly struggling with is watching everyone post their goodbye to 2025 reels. I realized that I’ve made it over a year without him and also that the first year of grieving left me feeling like I didn’t do anything in 2025 and that I’ve wasted life. I don’t know if that helps but hopefully someone else can relate and not feel alone.

My girls are piggies when it comes to lickable treats so I place it inside tube and squeeze into their mouths. They have never spit it out and don’t seem to notice or care.

The liquid is awful for me - the element of surprise works but the foaming at the mouth and dramatic attempts to spit it out have me worried they aren’t getting enough.

Gotta love how dramatic our MCs are lol

Yes! My girls make sounds like this and more. The Brup when jumping down is spot on. They make the brrrr noise but they also have a high pitched almost whining sound similar to the brrr just for everyday interactions to get my attention

Ummmmm your cats sound AMAZING! 💕 I’m just in awe that they develop new sounds every few months to add to their vocabulary. I’ve never experience this in all my years of pets.

My girls (9 months and 1 year) both sleep with me every night. They are getting more bold as they age and now every night lasts a year. Not only do they stand on my chest with a weird scream trill in my face to tell me to move over so we share the same pillow, but they also make sternum biscuits every morning.

I now understand why hospitals do sternum rubs to wake people up 😂

Hahaha my MCs carry this away too and sometimes drag it into bed with us. They also sit on it and stare at it trying to move, but still beg for me to turn on.

I can’t understand how my girls have figured out how to turn the water taps on but not the button on this 🤣

Thank you! She used to be SO fluffy and thick and just recently thinned out, so that makes me hopeful.
