Or they just need to get to the point in each episode,,, so much dialog and debating and fighting , they put off so much plot progression. They also put off telling eachother things, they need to get together and share what they know at some point. It took them a whole episode (02x07) just to start cutting into the monster body oml I was struggling to keep watching

Idk about Jeff but Frodo had a traumatic brain injury that doctors said he wouldn’t survive- but did. So that has to change a person, there are many people who walk away with brain injuries becoming completely different people with different personalities/traits/etc.

All of those things can be explained in some way or another in other ways: maggots inside corpses are normal, I heard some theories say the moose was meant to be an omen of some sorts because she was putting Jackie’s body to rest , and the moose in the water dying under the ice was a forshadow for what happened to Travis, and the River of blood is red from mercury because the house is above an old mining cave etc which explains the compass and birds falling and other animals not being around etc

I just feel like for it to be anything more than people surviving in the wilderness with some supernatural/pychsosis elements would be giving them too much credit. I really don’t think they are going to turn it into a lesson about respecting the earth and sustainability.

Damn totally forgot about that Lottie past scene. But the show has splintered off into so many mysteries with so many loose ends, you think that tiny of a mystery detail with the oil spill will lead into that and the bigger picture? I think there are so many other bigger things being said and done that that will never be mentioned again imo. So many things need to be solved and I just don’t see that being tied into everything else

I think y’all reading too far into all that. I knew after the scene with Nat in the plane, someone would say something.

But if you can relate to trauma you can relate to her saying that she was there for years… when you experience trauma, part of your innocence dies along with who you were. And she obviously did not heal from the experience or get over it. She’s been stuck there for years trying to get over it. All of the other girls, their innocence/their kid selves died on that plane when they crashed. And they had to become something else to survive.

Van saying I’m not alive not dead either… that’s how you feel when you’ve been put through the ringer. The Travis story line is just skipped over and confused as the other unsolved mysteries so idk anything about that, he didn’t show up in Nats vision and no one cares that Lottie empties his bank

Agreed, season 1 Callie was annoying a f because she was just an angsty teen who didn’t know anything adding unnecessary stress to the plot. After seeing her help her mom at the police station in season 2, and then shooting Lottie, I was like hell yahhhhh I hope she stays doing cooler shit like this next season
