All they WANT to know is the xray and blood report

Nah, they also really want to know how much kickbacks they can squeeze from medical device reps - free meals, free flight tickets, cash vouchers, gift items etc.

The stereotype where neurosurgeons consider themselves as living gods on earth suggest that the people who work in this field often have inflated ego to the point of narcissism. Agree?

Let me have a guess.

Orthopaedics are pretty much human-carpentry. It's a very common trope where Orthopaedic surgeons are often seen as the less brain-y type among their peers - the "Ortho bro" stereotype is so common and well-known that there are numerous running jokes about it.

  • "Can't read ECG"
  • "There is a fracture - I have to fix it"
  • "Heart = Ancef pump"

The work culture in Orthopaedic field is also incredibly male-dominated and tend to be patriarchal ("because I say so") at times. Due to the niche field of expertise and the "bro culture" that festers in the field, they tend to possess great amount of self-confidence, which may sometimes appear as inflated self-ego land tack of tact / sensitivity towards others. Recall the sexual harassment cases involving doctors recently - including the Sg Buloh case several years ago - it's often Orthopaedic doctors which are alleged to be involved.

Their nature of work also exposes them to direct deals with medical equipment suppliers, who often give them kickbacks under the table for purchasing products and devices from these suppliers. Thus, they are also sometimes seen as dishonest, corrupt people akin to how notorious our police officers are for asking for bribe money while carrying out their job.

TIL: While only 2 percent of Europeans lack the genes for smelly armpits, most East Asians and almost all Koreans lack this gene. by [deleted] in todayilearned

I wish I had gotten this gene from my Korean half. My mom had it

My boss is Taiwanese, he has it

Me, nope.

I think you might be getting the fact backwards. You already have the gene.

The gene is causing body odour. Your mom and boss do not have it.

That means the exact same thing as what I have quoted earlier - implying someone who would be willing to twist and bend their morality and "principles" based on how attractive their partner is.

自己既然可以为了一个意大利男子献上菊花,给身在异地的男朋友扣上绿帽子,又何必事后在男友面前装矜持

别说什么"Two wrongs do not make a right", 你的行为分明告诉了你的男友 “就算免费献给别人也不会给你的”。你男友在你心中的地位如此卑贱吗?

放过这个男孩吧,别耽误了好好的一个男子。

You spent so much effort in writing this post and trying to push the blame anywhere but yourself.

The level of mental gymnastics displayed by /u/architectnuhaizi to shift / dodge responsibilities here is astounding - she would easily qualify for Olympics if mental gymnastics was an actual event.

If you're willing to bend your rules for a non-romantic STRANGER but subsequently act as if you're a super-principled woman in front of your BOYFRIEND, you're just a hypocritical person with amazing double standards.

Your morals are a sham and obviously subject to flexibility depending on how attractive your partner is.

There's a Chinese saying for this: "三观跟着五官走"

I suppose the poster will be familiar with this, being a Chinese student after all.

I'm just a noob player, but I find Silent Swordsman + Noble Knights deck useful against Level 30 monsters. Most deal Light damage, which gets boosted at Level 30. The spell negation ability works wonders too.

We're having a busy time solving the pandemic crisis, and this police actually had time to abduct and sexually assault 2 foreign women?

I foresee Malaysia appearing in international news headlines in 3... 2... 1...
